You are a scholar and a gentleman Sir!!

This is why I am proud to be a part of this Pinball Community!!

People go out of there way and spend there time and hard work, trying to help everyone else have fun.

I don't think there is another community that does these things.

Keep up the great work rothbauerw, and thanks for all you do for this community!!

Carry on.

Ik running the latest release. Just to be sure I downloaded a fresh one from vpf and will do some more testing to see if I can replicate this. Running latest vpx (10.3.1).

Update: first 8 or so games no real issues but after shooting showtime the ball went down the right ramp and just behind the hat and was stuck again. The right return ramp definitely has a strange issue.

Noticed some other small issues:

- When ball lock via the center lights up it never locks the ball, I don't know the real table but I would expect if it lights up you should be able to lock the ball

- Sometimes showtime lights up but does not give you showtime but just throws the ball into the ticket price arena to up the bonus

I'm the new guy here, dont like to step on anyones feet!

The table is great fun, but with ball that is stuck for ever and the ball count dont match?

Being playing all this "challenging games" for a couple of months.

Kind of  let's see if we can find something to make the table better.

Here's my first update.  It's playing nicely but may need a few small tweaks.  Changes made to the table include:

  1. I redid the trough.  Hopefully this will help address any issues where too many balls are in play.  I haven't seen any issues, but I also haven't tested four players.
  2. I messed with the ramp on the right side of the table.  I haven't seen any stuck balls like on v1.3.1.
  3. I updated physics to LFHM settings.
  4. I added a transparent ball to the sword trick captive ball area.
  5. Added some additional sounds (rubbers, metals)
  6. Fixed feed the critics.
  7. Moved the right outlane rubber to an easier setting (within actual game parameters).

Feedback and bug reports are appreciated.

    Yep--all seems to be working well. Best so far 188 million. Tough table to get on the HS board!

Edit---no sooner do I say it's hard to get on the board--the very next game I do----273million

Open the script and do the following (lines 36 to 42):

If Table1.ShowDT = true then
    UseVPMDMD = true
    VarHidden = 0
else
    UseVPMDMD = False
    VarHidden = 1
end if

Hope it's not a problem, Rothbauerw, I changed Wall5 control points X coordinates to 782 & 786 (it's on layer 7)

Each time the ball went down the right ramp, it falled straight between the two flippers

I have also some issueswith thenew version. The ball doesn't stuck on the right site. That seems to be correct now.
First issue: if you shoot on the other ball in the upper lane, the ball doesn't roll in the lane. That was OK in the last version.
Second issue: during my play, again a ball is coming in the plunger. I now play only with one player. Will play tomorrow again to see, if I can reproduce this error and better describe it.
Third issue: I can't describe it in easy words. :-) But I have recorded it and will upload the video tomorrow.

@batch

I'll take a look tonight.  I didn't notice this during my testing, but I was focused on other issues.

@Joey2001

First issue:  I assume you're talking about the captive ball.  If so, the bottom ball doesn't move.  It's trapped between four posts.  There is a glass/transparent ball behind it.  That ball does roll up the lane.  It can be difficult to see it.  I can look at the transparency of the material and see if that helps.

Second issue: What I assume you're saying is that there's an extra ball in the plunger lane while another ball is in play.  If so, I can do some testing on that tonight.

Third issue: Anything you can get me today would be great.  I won't have much time tomorrow to look at issues.

Thanks guys!

Here's another update.

  • Adjusted wall to batch's request.
  • Adjusted material for glass/transparent captive ball.
  • I had too many balls in the trough.  Reduced from 4 to 3.  Hopefully this will fix the extra ball in plunger lane issue.
  • I was seeing some weird behavior in the stage, so I did some work there.  The emulation of switch 60 and stage doors doesn't appear to work right so it's all manually coded in.  Let me know if you see anything unusual there.  It seems to be working better now.

Ran out of my quota's for likes.

Thank you so much for updating this table for us all to enjoy!!

I think I will join in on the fun and see if I can't get a real high score!!

Thanks again Sir!!

DT users will still need to change script as Batch explained above, or you won't see DMD.

Thanks Batch!!

If Table1.ShowDT = true then
    UseVPMDMD = true
    VarHidden = 0
else
    UseVPMDMD = False
    VarHidden = 1

And for those who want to adjust the volume higher,

Hit the 7 key, you will see volume adjustment, hit the 1 key, and then use right flipper to turn up volume, or left flipper to turn down volume. press 7 key when finished. Voila!!

Carry on.

EDIT:

Just played first game, and got over 18 million!! I then came back to this topic thread, to see others scores.

Obviously I am way behind everyone. So I played a second game and got over 98 million!!

capture179_t.png

I might be able to compete with all you expert players this week!!   I usually try to at least play for a few hours on this weekly challenge, but my scores are never that good, so I don't post them. But this may be the week that this changes!!

98 million isn't very much, but it was only my second game!!

So I there is a slight chance I will get better score each time I play!!(At least I am hoping this theory pans out!!)

This table is really unique, and very fun to play!!

Thank you so much for making it!!

Now time to pull a rabbit out of my hat, and get to Pinballin'!!

   I think the trick to getting a high score is the game when you say "just one more". New HS 421.5 million
