Tried that link you sent me in the PM and the page that came up said "file not found". No worries, at your convenience double check the address. biggrin.gif

Before I scream, I think I will buy a stability testing program called burn-in test. Need to see if I have any hardware problems on my computer before I look again at the software side. Have to see if my computer may have caused the "glitch" problem.

Had a glitch occur in another program I was using. Fixed it with a reinstall. Tried the same with VP 9 to see if that would fix my playfield graphics "glitch" but to no avail. Gonna try something else, I don't think the playfield image file is flawed but not sure yet.

Go for it. If the pic will work on the table for you, then I really got to find out what the problem is on my end. Just ran the free version of burnin test (PassMark software) and no errors on all the tests I ran so it isn't hardware (phew!).

Hehe, friend of mine loaned me one of his computers in order for me to finish some conversions work with. I am going to see if I can use his computer to record all the Hogan's Heroes audio clips and sounds I want to use on the table. I may end up saving money by not having to buy that sound card. biggrin.gif

The one that has Schultz and Carter on the right side, LeBeau on the top and all the main characters on the apron. Also has Hochstetter about mid-playfield. I'll be glad to get the table back with images intact. I should be able to finish up on the playfield objects and the decor finished real soon after you get that part done. Then I will start recording all the audio I need for the table. biggrin.gif

Yeah it is the table blueprint image that "glitched" on me. Not sure if the blueprint got corrupted or it is some software issue.

THANK YOU FARALOS!!!!!!! You saved me from A LOT of reworking the table graphics. I don't know why the table was having the problem with the blueprint image but glad you helped fixed it. I owe you one bud!

Gonna finish the objects placement and naming which should only take about a day or two and then I will get started recording the audio clips and sounds to be used in the table.

Have just one obstacle left to conquer on the object end. The two ramps that lead to circular targets at the top of each ramp are intended to be raised up where the ball can go underneath (like the ramp in Pin Bot). Can this be done programmatically and if so, how to do it.

sure!! in the script make them noncollidable so the ball can then travel under the ramps then when you want the ramps to be 'active' make them collidable again...

Cool beans. Can the ramps bottom height property be control programmatically as well?

Started working on the backdrop but it came out with the table cutting off key parts of it. Wanted to know if there is an exact science concerning the size of the backdrop pic so I can get the pic displayed without the cutoff or if I have to keep experimenting on GIMP to get it just right.
Here's the current screenshot:

the reason it keeps on getting cut off is you are using walls around the actual table size, in the backdrop blueprint they don't show up at all, so take a screen shot of the actual pin (I use screenshot studio, but you can use your built in default screen shot thing, the 'prnt scrn' button and go into ms paint as save it there) anyhow take the shot that shows the table with the walls around it THEN go into gimp now you have the actual table load the blueprint into gimp also and using the first screen shot as a guideline paste the required size around the walls too so they won't cut off the letters when you load the table. did that make sense? as far as I know the ramps height must be the actual height that they are on the table. I don't think you can change that in the script but I may be wrong repost that specific question in the 'vp help' area you'll get an answer faster...

I got what you were talking about but ended screwing around with GIMP first (doing things the hard way lol).

The table looks really nice! I'm not too fond of the HER OES targets, they might look better without letters on them, since you're splitting a word up.

The HEROES targets had the text done by Windows Paint so they don't look great. I don't have much of a problem with the word being split since I like how I designed the lower mini playfield but I understand the sentiment, labeled targets should be uniform.

My only concern after I get the table completed is how it plays for everyone. The table is kind of a drain-o-matic due to some cheap drains in gameplay. I have remedied it to an extent but want to make sure the game is fun to play, or enjoyable enough as is to suffer through the drain-o-matic gameplay. biggrin.gif

If someone can tell me how to upload a file to this thread, I will allow for beta testing. biggrin.gif

Warning though, that the table doesn't have any sound yet.
