Nice score niliang!

In my opinion, the best way to finish Grand Finale is to have it start while in Midnight Madness. Then all you have to do is bash the trunk continuously. Hitting the trunk from the left flipper works well here, since the ball comes to the left flipper off the trunk magnet.

Couple new #1 scores (one of them replacing my own), plus a couple more to get myself on the board with.

Brave Team
JPSalas
VP 9, v. 1.0
Score: 999,680 (new high)

Slam tilted last three balls (in play, extra, and third) to prevent rolling over.

Skateball
PeBo
VP 8, v. 4.0
Score: 3,301,930

Never even heard of this table until a few days ago, but I really like it! The funky outlanes on both sides add an interesting type of challenge. No VP9 version yet, but no big deal because this one for VP8 is really good.

Space Invaders
Uncle Willy
VP 9, v. 1.0 6-digit
Score: 969,700 (new high)

Beat my own high. No tilting - this was my actual final score after the last ball.

Space Shuttle
Melon
VP 9, v. 1.03
Score: 1,645,960

Spent a fair amount of time playing this at Cal Extreme a couple of weeks ago (to my own surprise, since I've always walked right by it before), and it inspired me to grab the virtual version after I got back home again. Decided to post this particular score because it was my first time cracking 1.5 mil - will worry about challenging the leaders later!

done, just under, and a good one i think ! not the 1st place (which is surelly unbeatable with less than 4M of secure points) but was very hot to play last 2 balls, step by step, score in mind, and get the "t" tilt to be sure... (tanx to my son) wink.gif

just to enter the table, here's a quick score on the 6 digits version :

SPACE INVADERS UW
VP9
835.800
MIC

btw, not sure if its the last VP9 version, but ball seems very "heavy" !?

samll note on SI : the conversion remain very good (i remember testing the table for UW), the pinball is a true beauty for sure, in VP or in real, but the gameplay...
you just have to aim the "horse shoe", which is dangerous for the middle drain, nobody aim for the left part (captive ball + targets), its a left drain for sure, the right section can just hardly serve to put ball in the upper lanes, while the single drop target doesnt activate with a logical sequence, but randomly (while the collect bonus can also be a good thing if you had a great ball with lots of points waiting)

well, i still "love" this table, as a '80 pin fan, but must admit its NOT a good one in term of gameplay

Nice score! I play a pretty similar strategy as you - stay away from the left side as much as possible, and concentrate on the center loop and clearing all the lanes and targets in the upper playfield area. The two keys to a good score are building up your multipliers, and knocking down enough invaders on your first or second ball that your count won't reset all the way back to 1 after you drain. And yes, I always thought the artwork for this table looked fantastic!
