wow guys ! these scores are HOT about 8BD !!!
i will compete for sure, but in 3 balls will be hard to beat...

I have play with 5 balls and not 3...

what is the config. by default ?

It's my config. :

Dwfault is 3 balls, not 5.

If you are unsure if you are running the default settings, delete the nvram.

Start with a fresh one.

Some tables come with extra ball enabled, some dont. Be sure to check.

drop catch ?

Have you a picture of this or a video ?

2 questions , but no response...

You have two changes of significance from the default settings. Default is set to three-ball play, and also "saucer collects bonus" default setting is "without multiplier." Replay default is also 1 per game, but that shouldn't make any difference to the scoring. As Dedrok said, simplest thing to do sometimes if you aren't sure is to just delete the nvram.

I just checked the updated FS scores PDF. I was seeing if mine were still hanging at the top of the leader board, and I noticed there's no Fishtales FS, or Terminator 2, or Twighlight Zone! Just an FYI! I can repost my scores if needed!

I know...hurts, doesn't it? I just played a quick 5-ball with multiplier game for the fun of it and almost tripled my posted high score of 1.2 mil (which admittedly isn't that high to begin with). I guess JP didn't want us racking up a cheap high score by concentrating on the multiplier targets and corner pocket shots and ignoring the rest of the table.

What are the tables with extra-ball enabled ?

8BD has xball enabled alternate, meaning collect xb, next time special, next time xball.
The aim is to get xball then special on the xball (3 xballs in one game)

Kiss for example has no xball or replays as default.
Nothing worse than getting a top score to only realise you used an old config nvram. Delete and start again.

Nice score Rip, keep pushin'.

and for the "newcomers" who want to compete (for fun only, thats why it must be fair), IF you have old settings tables from time, in which you have putted your own choices, the best things to do is to erase all the NVRAM files from that folder, that way, you will get the original setting (set by the author) for each table

@Jimbod : lol because without seeing your post, i also played TAXI this morning dblthumb.gif

btw, i got a bug on the table (2.0), with ball being "glued" on top right of the ramp, as showed on the picture, this happend 2 times (!!!) on the same game...
first time i shaked the table but nothing to do except tilting, than lose my ball in play & bonuses
second time, i add a ball and than lose again my ball in play :/
will tell JP about that bug if not already noticed

even that, here's my score :
