Here's a new Screeny, plastics are 90% done, I'm still testing a few methods out, and I'll have to lower the height of the flashers I think... Oh yeah, the lighting was tweaked a bit too, used RGB 251/251/211 for the colour, instead of pure white.

Best Regards,
Todd.

Sorry for updating so soon, but those (stacked) trees and the flashers were bugging me to fix them. I had to lower the bottom of the flasher wall to -48 to get the tops at the right angle for Fullscreen. When I convert it to 4x3 Desktop mode, I'll re-check them to make sure they are the right proportions and viewing angle.

And yes, this table will be mostly angle independent, except for the drop walls for the flashing lights - so people WILL be able to mod the viewing angle fairly easily.

Now it's back to marinading our steaks in my secret "Jack & Dianne" sauce recipe! cheers!

Best Regards,
Todd.

Looking fantastic Todd, though the 4x3 looks a little out of aspect, the screen shot is a 16:10 shot and the ball looks a little egg shaped, just food for thought.

Files I have uploaded here...

Damn, this is looking really really good. Blows away the Ultrapin version. Are you saving the VUK's for last, or just scared to do them? biggrin.gif

Nope, while I do a lot of conversions, I have a couple tables I've built myself, just click on the "Upload List" button under my name to see what notches I've put in the handle of my revolver... and with the great authors on this site, it's hard not to learn their techniques. I could have very easily just re-textured La Retata with the High Speed graphics, but I wouldn't have learned anything doing that.

Best Regards,
Todd.

Alright folks, I'm starting the scripting. I have the ROM hooked up so far but I have a confession to make, I'm not very good at scripting. This is going to take some "extra" time so please be patient with me. I'll do the best I can, but don't expect this done in a few days - expect it in a couple weeks. I'm sorry, but this project is a learning experience for me so I don't want to dump the scripting in someone's lap. I am using TAB's LaRetata as a reference, because, to be absolutely honest, as good as the comments are inside PacDude's VP8 High Speed is, I'm not sure I'd be able to apply it to my own table. I've also added the second Helicopter to the top left of the table. I have a very vague memory of one being up there, but I can't find any pics on the web showing this second helicopter. If anyone has any info or pictures, please post a reply here in this thread. Thanks and here's a screenshot showing the ROM loaded up and running through attract mode.

Best Regards,
Todd.
