@JLouLoulou, you only have 2 tables with that flipper code? I think you are missing a lot of tables. Only 2 of my tables were on that list and I believe I used it on almost all I have made. You should add to your collection!

@JLouLoulou

I will send you a few test tables that have the same script for TOTAN and MM.  I will also send you a test TOM that I've made a few modifications to and let's see if that helps.

@rothbauerw You've got patience of a saint and work ethic of a champion. We salute you!  :otvclap:

Fleep,

This is a fantastic release of TOM, and many thank to you and the team for it. Every aspect of it is very high quality, and its a blast to play. I really like the sounds that you have added too. Its really nice to have some more accurate sound effects to compliment the excellent physics and game play. Really hope to see you dishing out more work like this down the road. :love39:

Would you mind if I use some of your sounds on my BBBB table that I am wrapping up now...with full credits of course?

Incredible release team!  I'm blessed to have this table in real life, so I know it very, very well.  3rdAxis and I play it sometimes and this is sooooo close its amazing.  I especially love the sounds.  I can only guess to how TIME and love have gone into this table, thanks.

It even plays great on one of my new projects (bartop pins with older Mini-ITX mobo).

Hey wrd,
Sure you can use the sounds. Keep in mind that almost every sound type has a few variations of its own as well; you can see in the script obviously so you don’t end up using a single sound all the time which is tiring.

@Rothbauerw : I just did a very short test game with SOSRampup = 2.5 - and I immediately feel more at home. Bare in mind though. I don't say that this is the correct setting. I say, it feels better being used to VP flippers. It might very well be that what you have as default is more correct to the real world. I really want to stress that I do - ALWAYS, need time to adjust going to real machines. I think you are doing god's work here.

Okay here is my two cents. I absolutely agree with Thalamus. SOSRampup = 2.5 much more enjoyable and "feel more at home"

With 8.5 all shots feels "random" for me. I cannot explain i simply not enjoy the gameplay. I love hard tables but this settings is "strange". It's just my feelings, maybe 8.5 is more real but unfortunately not for me.

But the good thing is a simple settings solved and i enjoyed this table like a kid. Such a total perfection in all aspect.

I’d like to try this 2.5 setting adjustment. How do I access that SOSRampup?

In the script at the "NFOZZY'S FLIPPERS" section there is a "Const SOSRampup =" line.

At first big thanks for the great artwork and the fantastic sounds. I hope, more tables will be release with these sounds.
After the first few games I think, I can't play pinball anymore. Most of my shots are wrong. They are too late and have the wrong angle.
Then I read this thread and see, that I'm not alone.
I also change the setting to 2.5 and now it plays as it should for me. Most shots are accurate and I hit, what I want.
I don't see a change visually. I never feel a lag in other tables, even if I have FF on or not. That makes no difference, same shots with same accuracy.
And I have set 60fps always. Vsync is always on.
My PC is not the high-end, but a very powerful one. Now I will proof some other tables with these settings. Maybe I have to change the rampup also, because I know, I had the same feeling on a few other tables like first at TOM. So the list from Thalamus is a great help.
Thanks again for all your work at this table.

Ayer baje pinaffinity..... Ey mucho mejor...... Puedo establecer todos los valores al Maximo en todas las tablas y no tengo tartamudeo... No se como lo hace pinaffinity pero parece una herramienta poderosa. Lo unico que hay que habilitar en windows que se arranque al inicio....

No, I don't have that setting. At my PCs I have two monitors, that don't have Freesync or G-Sync.

Just to be sure, can you show the settings in vpx to disable vsync and no fps limiter?

@arngrim put 0 in vpx vsync/fpslimiter case and use Nvidia Adaptive Vsync. Do not use any fpslimiter.

Stunning, stunning release - the sounds make a huge difference to the immersion and the table looks fantastic, huge thanks for the many many hours of work that obviously went into making this!

I'd also seen my that my shots seemed to be 'late' on this and also MM/TZ on MM I've been struggling to hit the castle which is a pretty easy shot and hitting the troll targets instead and on TZ I can't hit the extra-ball lane
Also with TZ the upper left flipper seems very late almost like the ball is extra-heavy for a milli-second (If it was a real table it would be flipper rebuild time ;) )

I've dropped the SOSRampup to 2.5 and things are better, apart from the upper left flipper on TZ which is if anything slightly worse with that setting.

TBH - the physics discussion may warrant it's own thread......

I have another question - I've never used exclusive full screen, I run my cabinet in windowed fullscreen with brute force AA and I've never had much of a problem with stuttering (so I've never really needed to investigate it to be honest - if it ain't broke and all that)

Does this have an effect on things like flipper speed or is it purely cosmetic?
I tried it for the first time the other day and just got a black screen on my PF and DMD screens having set DDraw=0 in the registry
