Yea not on Firepower. I get stutter on almost all tables with Forced 4x SSAA on with my computer set-up so I designed Firepower to work with it off. Not to say that other computers can't run it or that if VP becomes anything other then a single threaded process it won't change but for now it is what it is. What kind of set-up do you have if you don't mind me asking?

lol yea, I get stuttering on the BLANK example table with Force4x SSAA on. Just not happening brother. Not unless you delete Primitives GRP1 and GRP2 in Firepower then it will run perfectly;) Or go 4K and you won't need any anti-aliasing.

I5 with a GTX 960.  Firepower runs fine with Forced 4x SSAA with reflections disabled.  I just only get half the fire and power lights.  I did test with Forced 4x SSAA disabled and playfield reflections enabled, no stutter and lights work fine.  But, I do notice the loss of quality.

Interestingly, the table physics "feel" different too?!  Does that make sense or am I making that up?  LOL

Someone a while back was talking about using 4k settings instead of 4x SSAA.  I think it was Loafer or maybe TerryRed.  I played with that some, but never figured it out completely.  Maybe I need to revisit that?

If you're running a 4K monitor I would. And yea I mean if you're getting a higher frame-rate then yea the physics may feel different for sure.

I'm not running a 4k monitor.  For what they cost these days, if I can find one that fits my cab, I might have to upgrade.

The discussion was running the video card at 4k and down sampling.  Or something like that.

Oh, yea I have no idea about any of that. I'm only on desktop. No pincab for me. :(

Yepp. Carny recommended trying 4x DSR and turning off or at least use a less "expensive" AA on a 750ti. I happily used this setup until I went full blown 4k with a nvidia 1080. Highly recommended to give it a try. I didn't use the smoothness option. Left it at 0.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

@3rdaxis and @G5K, can you imagine to put this super cool LED inserts in your T2 table for an optional T2-LED version one fine day? :)

You mean have the insert's on T2 brighter or an option to make them brighter like Firepower?

Hi, I mean an option to choose between (the current) classic bulbs and bright and colorful LED inserts.
I believe Firepower has this option too within the script (I'm not at my cab right now).
I like it when real T2 tables got bright and colorful LED inserts, it adds a lot to the table. But maybe some people do not, So I think an option to choose would be perfect for everyone.

SO you want to get rid of the Stars background in DTmode?

You have to un-check visible on the primitive "itsfullofstars"

Then the Desktop image can be changed to anything you want.

very impressive work 3rdaxis and team.   :dblthumb:

a couple little niggly things.

StandupTarget6 and StandupTarget4 do not extend beyond the rubber object so cannot be hit.  You also appear to be missing StandupTarget8 which I'm guessing would go in the upper left by StandupTarget1.  In general on those standuptargets you may want to widen out the hit side a bit so a slightly off center hit of the ball on the rubber will also trigger the switch, how much wider varies by table builder, but probably wider than what you currently have at least on the longer rubbers, but of course up to you.

I like your ComboTriggers on the stand up targets, but am wondering if that could possibly introduce a double hit on one of the targets since the ball still hits the target, or maybe the rom ignores them that close together, can't tell by playing.

Hey, shoot me a message because I want to release another update and address the issues you have found.
