I can't find a rom for this.  Am I missing something?

Never mind.  This is my first attempt at vpx (rather than vp9) so I just figured it out.  Typical neophyte

Can you remove the playfield DMD and just use UltraDMD?

Here, hold my beer. You ain't gonna believe this...

Yes, you can do that, but why you want to do that? In this table, the DMD with reels is the real one, the UltraDMD is just a bonus.

I believe because it is sideways on the table when in a cabinet (portrait mode) .  I do not know of a way to rotate and place at top of screen.  I can unlock it and move it, but not rotate it.  Very nice lighting on the table by the way.  It really stands out visually.

This is the ULtraDMD. To unhide it change, in the registry, this variable back to false:

HKEY_CURRENT _USER/SOFTWARE/ULTRADMD/hideVDMD = false

What an incredible table.  My kids..(and their parents) are absolutely addicted.

We had a glitch today...my son was playing 4 players by himself.  He crushed the high score at 175M or so.  It saved his high score to the leaderboard 4 times.  So he now has the top 4 scores @175M.

I should add that your name is famous in our household :)

Great table!!!

I can't seem to get DOF working for some reason... I bring up the profile in the DOF Configtool and it's blank. Does this table use DOF in another way?

Cheers!

Arngrim added the DOF commands in version 1.1.4, so I guess you need at least that version to get the DOF working. Everything should be working in the latest version 1.2.1

About the scores getting overwritten fro all the players, I can take a look at it and see if I find something wrong in the script (well, obviously, there must be something wrong :) )

Cheers JP, will get in touch with Arngrim. Looking closer I think the issue might be to do with missing DOF settings on the website rather than the table.

Good to see you're still making tables by the way

UPDATE

1.3.0 Updated 26.12.2018
- adjust rubber positions for an easier shot to the Eggs, making the entrance wider.
- changed environment image (and materials)
- added some surround  sound support
- adjusted flipper settings

@Sku11digger: I didn't found any error in the highscore routines. This doesn't mean that it is error free, it means that I simply didn't see the error in the script. I guess your son is happy with his name on all 4 highscores :)

I always thought that the entrance to the Egg hatching zone was too narrow, and a very difficult shot with that big rubber in its side. So I remove it, and now the shots are easier to make, and it is possible to hatch more eggs than before.

There are no change in the rules, mostly only graphical changes, using my new environment image, the materials and the half saturated color file to enhance a little all the table. This result also in much better balls too :) And if you have a surround sound system then it will sound better too (I have separated the table sounds from the backdrop sounds in the editor).

The table is still using my DMD made with reels. The UltraDMD is only set up to show the scores. My first idea was to make a full UltraDMD support. But I'll leave it for the next revision, as it is a lot of work :)

Still is a easy table meant for children, so it is not a hard table to beat.

Wondering if there is something that I can change. I have the same problem on this table and JP's Slimer. Sometimes the score goes backwards and even into a negative score. Is there a way to correct this?

That has never happened to me (!?) Negative scores? Do you reach very high scores before it happens?

I usually notice this at the start of a game. I'll try to get a recording of it so I can show you.

Maybe there is something I forgot to initialize. I'll check the code. I already have a small fix to fix the possibility of that "SPACE" error in the string handling of the DMD which happens or may happens in the Slimer table.

amazing update JP! thanks,

is there any way to get the music from the previous version this is the one my kids love?

Also is it possible to move the DMD to the top of the playfield as on the previous version rather to have it at the bottom? since there is no more UDMD, this would be much more convenient for cabinet player!

Thanks

I think you could still play the old table in the cabinet. This is VP, and by that I mean that everything can be changed, but you'll need to move the DMD yourself, and maybe change the view angle of it, and make changes in the script, export the old music and import it, and change its name or change the script to play it. But why so much trouble, just play the older version, much easier :)

Totally sweet upgrade! I love it!

Here is another DMD question though. The reel DMD can stay where it is, but I see other people saying they also have UltraDMD on this? Is that a seperat download for that? UltraDMD is not set to hidden in registry, and it shows on other tables.

There is no UltraDMD on this DT versjon 2. You need to use the old version for ULtraDMD.
