Looking damn good.  I was just playing the old version earlier today to see how much improvement this update would really provide.   A great update for sure,  I like how the primitive spike objects on the upper play field actually receive light in a realistic way from the red flasher.  I enjoyed the old version, but the difference is like day and night now.

Great work pal! ;)

I had to cut a few frames on the head animation, but it's still pretty smooth.
That mech is a pita in pinmame. Since that video I've done the head in 15 degree steps.
It's the only way I can keep the head to remember it's position. Once it's out there for testing maybe I'll add more frames to the animation.

As of now it's going 90 degrees in 300 ms in 6 steps 50 ms per step.
If it seems choppy to people I'll add some steps.

In the video it was going in 1 degree steps, but it would eventually lose its position.
The new nether I'm using I can add steps it will just require me adding more lines of code.
Basically 3 lines for every step. So if I did 1 degree steps it's 900 + lines of code

Arngrim. I'll send it to you shortly so you can do the gear motor for dof.
Still have to do the gi.

Also have to do the dof sound routine and controler routine.

Have it to you soon.

I'll have both wool and jf bmpr physics
And player1 is reworking the playfield

after just playing it i decided i'm going to double the amount of steps on the head animation.  that will be 7.5 degrees per step.  i think that should be smooth enough.  not as smooth as the video but close

Table release of the year !!! That's for sure.

Really amazing work, I can't wait to play this masterpiece :)

One thing that I mentioned: the music seems to slow down at some moments in the video. But maybe it's because of the recording.

The head animation looks decent, great lightshow the only thing i noticed is that the ball is going realy fast in my opinion.
The wall between the 2 flippers should get us all a pretty good highscore :-)

Wall is for testing.
Haven't done any physics yet aka, fast ball.

The wool and jimmy fingers are working on physics
