I would say x,y,z values for the object movement but I cannot find any reference for this

Edit : I was completely wrong, I found that from a destruk post :
'GateName.Move ?,Speed or Number of steps for animation, Ending degree angle between open and close angles

That must be referenced somewhere...

Thanks for the help

The reason I ask is that I wanted the drawbridge to move slower.
When I change to Door1.Move 0,1,90 it worked, but I dont really understand why.

WOW what a pinball, i played both the original and the future pinball, believe it or not but i prefer the virtual one.

The trolls are the key in this game to destroy the kingdom.
Make sure the trolls are lit before you start multiball, destroy them in multiball and then hit them as much as possible to become master off trolls then you can go after the king.

what a brilliant game much thanks to SALAS master of masters.

I'm getting a long series of errors trying to run this table on VP914.

  1. "Unable to open wpc.vbs. Ensure that it is in the same folder as this table." although I already have a WPC.VBS file in the Tables folder.
  2. "Can't Load VPinMAME. Variable is undefined" but shouldn't VP8 and VP9 use the same VPinMAME?
  3. "VPinMAME ver 01550000 required." I have no idea what that even means!
  4. "wpc.vbs ver 3.26 or higher required." Now I get it... the WPC.VBS file I have isn't recent enough... but where can I get the latest file?
  5. "Line: 49 Variable is undefined: 'GiCallback'" I don't know what THIS one means either...
  6. "Line: 57 Variable is undefined: 'vpmInit'" Probably brought about by #2 and #3 above.

What, if anything, can I do about all these problems?

Yeesh... boy, that little misstep sure knocked me cold in the face like a gong, didn't it?! All is fine now after using the "Run as administrator" command; I've set this as a permanent setting in the Compatibility tab of its Properties page.

The apparent ease and frequency with which that gets overlooked (and I'll bet it would get me, too) makes me glad I'm using XP. :whtflag:

Plunge on, Brandon!

NEW UPDATE: Revision 2.4.0 for VP915

Those are the changes I had planned for this table:
- make the trolls register a side hit and you should need less power to hit them.
- slower castle main gate movement and in sync with the rom sound (fixed the solenoid call)
- smooth trolls up/down movement (they still move up/down very fast, it didn't feel right to make them go up/down slower, but now they shake when they reach the up position)
- smooth castle iron gate movement (done using a primitive)

And I ended up adding these changes too:
- New playfield, original from Francisco666, with many corrections by ClarkKent
- New plastics
- New color change for the castle and towers (ClarkKent)
- New Damsel castle (ClarkKent)
- New lights
- New fading GI on playfield and plastics
- Fading flashers at the bottom of the ramps
- New decoration on top of the flipper lanes, the archers
- New flashers
- New sounds as in my latest tables
- New trolls using 2 primitives for each troll, which allow for better up/down movement and shaking when hit.
- New logo on top of flippers, also using primitives
- New dragon (with color adjustments by ClarkKent)
- Fixed the ladder textures so it doesn't look broken.
- + a lot of script changes, b2b collisions, rubber sounds, ball rolling sound, JimmyFingers tap flipper addon, etc
- enhanced: purple flashers on the backwall: they didn't have red domes at the shop so I fitted purple ones :)

I just want to say thanks again to ClarkKent for all his help with the graphics and play testing.

Enjoy!

JP

Just tried to play the new 2.4 version. I get an "Error Loading" the table immediately on clicking play in VPMan. The game is also greyed out and if you hover over the entry it says it's not found in the database?

Trying to run it via VP915 Rev.482.

Never mind. I downloaded it again. I also noticed the scripts file had a new version and downloaded that too. Not sure which fixed it but the table plays and plays great. LOVE the new additions and updates.

Thanks so much for the work on this. One of my favorite pins is now that much better. :)

Update 2.4.1:

I have fixed the gate :) It was the script which wasn't 100%. I assumed the ROM knew when the gate was up or down, but it didn't. So sometimes it triggered the solenoid to rise or lower the gate when it didn't need to. I added the right switches and a small timer to turn those switches on and off so the rom knows when the gate is up or down :) So now it works better :)

I have no plans to make a 16:9/spanned version.

2.4.2 Updated 28 April
- Fixed new bug introduced to the castle bridge
- Some small graphic changes (playfield, ramps)

I guess this should be final... for now :) All the bugs a fixed, everything should work, but wait... VP916 is coming... not yet :) But there will be new lightning, more vivid flashers...
