I'm gong to swoop in here 6 years after the fact.  I can't seem to make the Start button work on my cabinet for this game.  I read through the entire thread and do see instructions on changing the script, but I am having no luck.

I'm using a virtuapin plunger kit, for both plunger and buttons, using the start key works on literally every other game i have,.using the Button 9 option in VP, but i have to push "1" on the keyboard to get this one to start.

Any ideas?

Put this freddy.nv ( first unzip Freddy.zip ) in your VPinMAME / nvram Folder, i think that is what you Need to do.

Here are all other nv(ram) Files, what you Need also for (some) other Tables ... http://www.vpforums....s&showfile=1362

You may want to join efforts with jimenez at the French site. They have a WIP that is coming along:

While i wait, impatiently, for the VPX version.  The NVram file didn't fix the start button issue.

I suppose it isn't such a big deal, especially now that i have a wireless keyboard at the ready, so i'll wait...less impatiently for that VPX version to come.

Thanks
