Just increase the Y scale value until it fits the screen.

Next select the textbox (the black one in backdrop) and delete it or move it out of the screen

freneticamnesic,  Thanks for the KingPin update.  Plays much better now, (I got over 210 million on 1st ball, never got over 100 mill in a whole game before)  (Might also be that I fixed some lag in my flippers by turning OFF windows aero though).   Games like these are what make VP so great, I would never been able to play this at home.  Thanks to all authors and devs!

Gemini, Gottlieb (1978) beta1

Spent the weekend offline in the mountains working on the table.  Mostly complete, still some tweaking of physics and scoring to do, and the never ending playing with the lighting.  I took a clue form the playfield images I found which were faded and worn and went with an old abused table look throughout, found old broken plastics, rusty apron and arch and put some nice heavy sepia tones on the instruction and replay cards... (graphics is not my strong suit ;)

directb2s backglass is included  in zip, FS settings are setup for my cabinet which runs the main playfield in portrait mode so you will need to adjust accordingly.

Also took inspiration from the menu system I saw in some of loserman's tables and setup a quick menu accessable by pressing [  that allows you to change balls from 3 to 5 and choose amoungst a few different replay score options... still a work in progress but does function and like loserman's changes the cards on the table accordingly.

Feedback very welcome.  thanks.  Download:  https://dl.dropboxus.../Gemini VPX.zip

Kingpin  --> Nice job *- But The table lights up after I finish the first ball or is that the way it's supposed to work

The lighting is all rom controlled, it should be white during game play and flash red when you drain, and then during kingpin mode it flashes red and white

Ok I start the game leave it sit there for about 10 seconds and then the lights on a table come on..... If it's in the ROM then everybody should be having this problem because I downloaded rom from the site

Yes the kingpin has emulation issues and always has. Give it 10-30 second and lights will work properly. The game is playable before then though

Played Kingpin tonight and ran up over a million points. Then VP crashed. Just hard crashed. No error report. Anyone else experience this?

Kingpin - When I load the game in VP-10 the b2S Backglass comes right up... When I try to run it in pinballX the backglass will not come up and gives me the usual error message saying I don't have the file or misspelled, all my other games work fine including the other  VP-10 games

This makes no sense is anybody else experiencing this?

Congrats on Gemini.

Here are my FS settings for those interested.

I love the rust and worn effects on the playfield. Very well done!

With this one, I had a lot of stutter and had to disable Ambiant occlusion.

Also, I found the ball a bit small.. but did not find yet how to change its size in VPX.

Thanks!

Not sure on the stutter, have not had an issue with it myself, but sounds like you took care of it.

Ball size could be adjusted in the code in the couple places where it is created, but I'm not sure if everything would work correctly if it were made larger.  I'll take a look at it and see if others give their thoughts on that as well.

LoL, yeah it wasn't 200 mil but I was just getting started. Only thing it said was VP had quit working and only choice was to close it. I did and it went right back to Pinballx like nothing was wrong.

It may be something completely on my machine. A fluke or whatever. I will try it some more and see if it happens again.

The game Victory no longer plays right with the current versions of the VP-10 the kicker at the top the ball goes up on the ramp and just sits there

Great job on Kingpin, plays and looks great!  Really fun table. Got 5th place on first play.
