Joey and Thalamus ( thanks ), it works ... just grab the latest .dll then add the Parameters ... be sure for Test: edit .ini , save, then (always) Close and re-open VPX,
for example, heres my .ini ...
 
btw. new HS at ACDC but far away from Joey

Thanks for the ini. Now I know the problem. It was indeed the userright. I copy your content to my ini-file and the problem persists. In many cases vpx crashes after opening the table.

Then I take your ini and copy my content in. It works.

Well - when you look at my favourite tables, this shouldn't come as a surprise.

 

Relatively new release so lets hope there is no issues with JP' release of LOTR. If there is, lets fix and report.

Oh another one I've only played once or twice. Can't wait to install it and thrash it like I did with AC/DC. I've played over 60 games of ac/dc in the last 3 days.

Nice choice. Let me start with:

My best score on the old VP8 version was round about 998 Millions, but I give up the last balls, because I thought,

the score jumps after one Billion to zero again.

How can I use the rom sound of the table?

The sound of the table rustles.

It is known that if you turn up the volume to high, then the sound will be quite distorted. So, you probably need to turn it down a bit and instead increase the volume of you PC. One thing you might try also is to change the rom sound to type 1 and even try 96000hz.

 

Edit: 96000 didn't work very well - but, turning the volume a bit down from the rom - really does. Had a few games tonight, and I was nowhere near 100M.

 

Believe my best was around 60M

Here's my first HS. Not very good. But I have an enourmos lag, if I destroy the ring, so I can't use the flippers.

Is it only me, I find the balls are too speed, even in multiball mode where they "fall" from the top of the playfield

 

Or perhaps I'm too old and I've no more reflexes

 

I've tried to lower Slope for Min & Max difficulty but I don't know if it's authorized to change settings during the challenge

@batch : We all need to play with the same settings. IF not, it isn't really fair. But, I agree, the table has a few tings I'm going to try to tweak after the challenge.

 

-- or, it happened before, that we simply agree on a change. But, right now that isn't really fair for Bolt who has a good score.
