For the Color DMD, i also can just save 1 Position, thats all atm i think ( would be cool for every "romname" one X and Y and Size )

Even if I don't read the rules, I had a good score today; my personal highscore. :dblthumb:

attachicon.gifhs1.jpg

I moved the DMDdevice.dll and .ini from syswow64 to VPinMame-folder, but that doesn't change anything.
The DMD is always at the start of the table opened in the background of the playfield.
So I manually edit the ini-file (Y- and X-axis and open in front) and now it works.
Don't know, why this doesn't work automatic. I'm always as admin logged in.

Another question: I want to record games with screenrecording. Which program is the best?
I record with the tool in Win10 and the quality is very good, but I can only record the playfield.
I want also to record the DMD for the score.
I also test Apowersoft, which can record multi displays. But while recording I can't play without difficulties.
My PC is fast enough. Maybe there is another good programm?

What files did you edit?  I have the same problem.  The virtual DMD keeps showing up on top of the playfield when I load the table. Thanks!

I only edit the DMDdevice.ini-file in the VPinMame-folder. I only have one table with a colored DMD and I don't know, what I have to do, if I had another table with other X- and Y-axis. How can I edit the ini for separate tables?
Here is my ini-file, that works for me.

Maybe you have to change the X- an Y-axis. My backglass is 1600x1200.

Add this to the dmddevice.ini ... here the rom is named <acd_168hc> and <monopole>

It is kind of redundant here with pindmd3 enabled = false and virtualdmd enabled = true. Because, you have already disabled the pindmd3 and the virtualdmd is set default to on. So, for acdc_168hc, that would be something I would use. I run with pindmd3 but, IF I needed to run without the pindmd3, it would look like this. Under - for monopole, is more the example you are looking for. You don't need to tell once again that pindmd3 is off, it already is in the [global] section. And of course, your virtualdmd is also there enabled so that too is redundant.

I must admit though that I haven't tried these settings myself since I haven't had use for them yet. I could in theory temporarily fix the gottlieb system 3 problem that is related to dmddevice and the latest and greatest VP stuff out there ( freezy's dmddevice needs a fix towards 2.9 ). This is at least how it is supposed to work. If not, well, then it is a bug that needs to be addressed.

virtualdmd height = 256

Still having the hardware problem, but, I've managed to half way go around it while the new controller is in the mail.

Set a new personal GC.

I've had a few games today, but haven't reached the replay score yet, but I'm suffering massive ball stuttering since I've installed it, and it's on all games.

I even tried setting the settings to default, and turning things down, but no joy.

If I'm not mistaken he got the idea from you :)

As I said, haven't tried it myself, but, it is definitely planned to work this way.

I test it and sadly, it doesn't work. With your settings the DMD opens again on the playfield.

We wait and see, what Stat tells us, when he test this.

I have no clue how I got my 356million game on this table! I've played a ton of games and have not gotten anywhere close to it since. Love the table though. Crazy multiball!

Me too. Since two days I made many games and ended mostly between 50m and 130m. Today I've got one with 300m. But Thalamus score is out of this world. :-)
No clue, how I get near this.

Well - you have to be lucky and get a 2'nd ball that will never drain like I had ;)

As usual I choked just as I was going to go into Encore.  Damn it !

Ok then. I will experiment a bit with this myself.

This I'm sure is something Frizzle can fix in a relative short time, once he has the time to actually concentrate again on the dmd-ext project.

Well I managed to sort out my stuttering - it was my TV set on TV, rather than PC.

Still hasn't really helped my score, I can plan for ages - but get 25m....

I think coz it also looks forking amazing, seriously, this has raised the bar.
