Last Action Hero was mentioned but not Jurassic Park, I like both but I always thought Jurassic Park to be a bit more lucrative, the crane in LAH is cool but it's not every day you see a pinball table with an animatronic Trex eatting balls. I know DE tables have a bit of a bad wrap for having broken parts or being poorly maintained but I think they were really ambitious with their table toys. I remember seeing brand new DE Star Wars and being attracted to the R2 toy like a moth to a flame.

At least Pinbot is on the list...and thats my vote.
I like the older tables. Newer ones have too many ramps and not enough targets. Playfields look too busy and its hard to follow the ball plus when the ball is on top, it gets
invisible because it goes behind a ramp.
Lucky...
yeah that totally agree and why not a top 25 from each era would be fairer

Hi all,
I have played many pinballs in the past.
The most popular pinballs I have played with their special functions and challenges:
- Cabaret of Williams in 1968. Super bonus scores en flipper post.
- Monte Carlo of Bally 1972: Scoring a lot of replays with the special top richt lane. The flipper post in the middle is very helpful.
- Black Jack of Bally. Also a lot of Special scoring.
- Fire Power II. Almost no lost in the outlanes due to skillful nudging.
- Rolling Stones. Endless loop with 3 high score credits when playing over the 6-digit clock score.
- Paragon of Bally. Many specials, 3 high score credits and a lot of extra balls.
- Jungle Lord of Williams. Almost never lost the ball in outlanes due to proper magna save skills. Also the upper playfield drop targets gives a lot of extra points. Also multibal increases the score a lot.
- Eight Ball deLuxe of Bally. Very challenging to get very high bonus scoring. Despite the challenge, it was also sometimes an annoying and frustating table.
- Grand Lizard. Similar as Jungle Lord.
- F-14 Tomcat. Many extra balls. Almost endless game playing.
- Black Night 2000. Very challenging for being the loop champion, Ransom scores and very fast playing.
- Get Away (High Speed II). Very fast, a lot of extra balls. Super jackpots. Cathy music.
- Adams Family with the sense of black humor. Probably the nicest pinball ever.
There are even more pinballs. Since 1993, I never played on real pinballs again but I have fixed and revised some pinballs for the hobbyist. New parts were installed and cleaned the playfield with the Gold Cat wax. These tables plays then fast, accurate and great.
The pinballs I had in my collection:
- Band Wagon of Bally
- Fun Fest of Williams
- Monte Carlo of Bally in 1972
- Medusa, my only electronic pinball.
I have tried to make Jolly Rogers of Williams (1967) with VPX 9.91 but I lack in graphic skills. I have some VBS programming skills but need to learn and improve more.
I have the playfield and backglass pictures, but need to be retouched to finalize it. The Jolly Rogers pinball is playable well so far with good physics.

Guys! C'ommon! The best table of all time is 1978 Atari Space Riders. Geez, everyone knows that lol 😂.
When I learned about pinball through my friend Mike Wong who is also a member here, I thought the cats ass was TOM, however after playing other tables such as Congo, which became my now favorite table, I learned about other fun titles such as Johnny MNEMONIC, Indianapolis 500 and so many others. Perhaps rather than the obvious top 25 tables of all time, we should start a poll for the MOST fun 25 or 50 tables of all time.
At least it would expose new comers to our hobby such as me, to potential tables they don't know about (including me). Hard to play 540 tables 😉
Edit for spelling.

Check out the Pinside top 100 or the IPDB top 100. The games you listed are probably in those top 100 lists

The thread gets a bump every time someone votes in the poll. I know that from the forum view it looks like you posted again, but it was just some one voting.
How I built my B2S Pinball Cabinet, step-by-step, with pictures! Full-sized cabinet for ~$700. Believe me, if I can do it, so can you!
