Hey IPJball:

That's not a "z fighting" but a very rare "bug" (?!). The only thing you need to do to fix that is to go to the "Table", "Image Manager", and find the image "backpanel_on" and change the transparency color from black to green. And then those lines will be gone. :)

Greetings

JP

First of all..

JP you are a bad ass!  I LOVE your tables. Thank you very much for all of your contributions to this amazing nerd hobby.  Party Zone looks and plays great!!

Does anyone have some insight for me?

I have been looking around, and I haven't seen any reference as to how we can get an analog plunger working on Party Zone.  I don't see a plunger object that I can enable mechanically.  In the past I have successfully added plunger support to Funhouse and Roadshow with the help of this great forum but I can't find PZ listed on any of these threads.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Junky

The plunger: that table uses the vpm impulse plunger, and the visual plunger you see is made with two kickers and it never touches the ball. To make it work with an analog plunger you will need to find an old thread about how to add it. You will need to add an analog plunger and copy/replace a bit of code to enable it. That thread is here in this site somewhere :) (I guess in the help forum)

THANK YOU SO MUCH JP! It worked perfectly. One last thing though, also on Funhouse, when Rudy talks, his face changes color slightly.

What can I do to fix this too? Once again, you are VERY appreciated! You're the best!

Thanks,

IPJball

Hi again JP,

Sorry to bother you again, just wondered if you know how to stop Rudy's face from changing color. (on vp 9.9).

If you know how to do that it would be great!

Thanks,

IPJball

The fix for Funhouse and other tables can be found  in the DX9 table compatibility sheet.  https://docs.google....EPwri8/viewform

Click on Edit->Select Element.  Select rudy, rudy_closed, rudy_left, rudy_open, rudy_right.  Click on OK.  On the Options tab on right, uncheck "Enable Lighting"

thanks for the update.

i just updated from 1.2.1, and noticed some distorted flasher effects.

im still running 9.2.1.

for anybody with this issue

i changed x scale to 1.36, and y scale to 1.81. and this fixed the flaser problems.

also, i noticed that the talking head in the middle of the playfield (Captain B-Zar) is much darker and is not bright like it was in 1.2.1. does anybody know how i can make it bright again?. thanks/sparky

Try to uncheck the box "Render Shadows", you find it in the table panel -----> Colors, Sounds & Graphics.
