I feel a bit a shame that I started this week with the alphanumeric on my backglass.
To be honest, I really like the option, but a lot of configuration per table.

But I have a small issue that I cannot find to resolve.
And sorry if this was mentioned multiple times, but my google didn't give me an answer

If more than 1 alphanumeric display are used, only display with the name 'pos0' is on top of my backglass.
Sometimes display 'pos1' will also appear, but the rest are all focused behind my backglass.
I could not find the option stayontop in the documentation for alphanumeric (it is for virtual DMD, but that is turned off)
Is there a way to get all displays on top of my backglass ?

Because I'm using the resize function of the backglass (small option) , I'm forced to set the backglass option "in front", otherwise it just shows a black screen.
Do I miss something?

No I think you're pretty much got it covered
The only thing I can suggest is put a image in windows (or have widows be a black screen) On your back glass then you would not need to use the small button
You could set up a separate screenRes.res file for each game to shrink the back glass

Separate ScreenRes.txt file
If you are running the Latest backglass server, You can make a copy of your ScreenRes.txt file and change the extension to res and call it the same name as the game

Then in that res file make changes for that table..

Thanks Outhere.
I had already setup a 'per table' .res file. But looks like if I make a 4:3 backlass res, it is puting a black image bwhind. Putting the backglass to the background results in a black screen.
I will dig further. Its good to know I'm on the right track.

Which parameter in the res file will set an individual backlass to back ? Is that possible for a table (didn't check it yet)
Thanks again for your reply

I think if you right click the back glass and uncheck move to front per game or Or if you just save back glass it will put it entry in this file and you can adjust it there or just make the entry in the file

I set my backglass up years ago, so need to check if it is running as admin. What will be the benefits of it to run it as admin ?

You shouldn't be making b2s run as admin, none of vpx should need run as admin

If i understand correctly, you are trying to change the backglass size, i assume because otherwise it stretches out of proportion?

But to make it show up on screen correctly you have to force to front, when then lands over top of the alphanumerics?

Why not try this instead
Run the backglass at normal size, in normal fashion, with out the bring to front checked, with out the small backglass checked etc.

Open the backglass in b2s designer, export the backglass image.

Ok now how tall is the image?
Figure out the 16.9 dimension based off that height (just make a 16.9 image in ms paint and then resize to the height of the backglass image and there is your answer)

Ok, so load backglass image in something like paint.net if you dont have photoshop or something better.

Now change the canvas size (not resize image)
Set image position to be centered
And set the canvas width to what you found out with ms paint.

Now fill in the new canvas with black, or what ever you'd like to fill it in with.
Now save that image

Ok now you have a whatever sized backglass perfectly centered in a 16.9 field

Back in b2s designer, import the new backglass image

adjust position of any elements as necessary, then create the backglass

Now you have a fullsized backglass, that wont be all distorted or stretched etc
Now you can run it normal, and not have to fight to keep your alphanumerics in place.

It sounds like more work than it is, it takes me like 2 minutes tops to do one in most cases

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

Spend it on Hookers and Blow

Of you could simply use this for all backglasses
I hear change of resolution has no effect on it
