well, the shaking stopped when I reverted back to my orig copy but when you open it, the intro pacman music never completes/stutters and the dmd is black. this is so beyond frustrating b/c it was working previously. just makes no sense. argh. guess I'll try replacing the rom then. see what happens

hmm, so I reloaded the rom and that seemed to fix it. I think my plunger kit is messed up. usb plug broke. trying to solder it back on but may just upgrade to the V3 since it's much better anyway. but other than that, it's working now

Hey guys, not sure if you can help me. I tried to configure my joystick in my cap with the tab key. I was stupid and deleted the tab key in the name options... Is there anything that I can do to get into that menu again to get it how it was before?

mcalli90, you will probably need to re-download the table and start with a fresh copy. Usually, I rename current one to something like babypacman_old then you can open both and mimic the settings if needed.

finally trying to get back to this. Please see attached. I am now using Zeb's V3 plunger (latest and greatest) my joystick is still causing the table to shake/nudge and kills pacman right away. someone previously mentioned about re-mapping the joystick but no clue what they mean. I have it mapped correctly to my joy2key profile. Where in the editor am I supposed to map the up/down/left/right joystick. again, right now, it seems like those are mapped to nudge which by the way is working fine for nudging using the plunger system.. see attached editor settings. what needs changing here? Nudging is not mapped to the arrow keys. Also, the arrows keys work fine for pacman but for some reason, despite the joystick being correctly mapped to the arrow keys using joy2key, it is shaking my table instead. Like WTH? Can't make sense of this.

after rebooting, the dmd shows in the front again. don't know why this keeps happening but oh well.

So I load it up, the pinball section works, but the game itself doesn't show up, what settings do I need to change for that? Going into windowed mode shows it on the very side, having to be manually adjusted, but even after doing that the game just doesn't load at all.
Also if I launch the ball and it falls in, then nothing brings it back and I have to reload even after hitting 5 a few times for quarters, not sure which settings adjusts that one.

Hmmm.... weird can't get the DMD to show up with newest VPX version.

 

Mouse isn't visible, either.

 

Must be something that needs to be adjusted at my end I'm sure.

hello,  I'm working on virtual baby pacman cabinet.  I would like to know if there's a way to keep the video game screen on top of the backglass? (without doing Alt+tab)

 

Freezy don't seem to work with this game.

Broken on the VPX 6.1 and VPinMAME33_beta?

 

I saw some white showing but after that just black on the DMD game screen. Also the table seem not fully working. Locked up after the ball drain. Probably playing in the DMD game screen. lol

no, works in 10.6 with vpm 3.2 and 10.7 with vpm 3.3

After I deleted all of the nvram files and cfg files. Now it working. I did ran PinMAME32 test to be sure it working. It shown up. YAY.

You need to exit VPX between relaunches for this table, that is all
For some reason the ROM wont reboot, kind of unique to this rom

Does anybody have a help file for a newbie how to get this working?  I see a download, but that's all I know what to do.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I don't have about $4k to spend on this game unfortunately.

depends on what table you downloaded

a vpt file will open in vp9 a vpx file will open in vpx
