10 dollars and you can download everything here with no limits. and it doesn't take long to download everything. And that is for a year!!! I personally am getting the lifetime membership soon, as I cannot get enough of this great community, and the great masterpieces you all create.

 

10 dollars for year of unlimited downloads,

or 25 to 35 dollars for 1 DVD.

I think he was doing it to pay for his site, it's like everybody wants their own VPF these days, they must be seeing it as a Bunsen burner (nice little earner).

He only made this DVD for people that don't know how to setup or configure VP in their cabs. The price for the DVD was 5 euro in Italy, the price covers the shipping and material costs; it's abvious that if you order it from the US, you will pay it more; anyway the DVD was removed after you intimated him of legal actions. Every table in his little site is hosted with author permission.

What about you selling your cabs for 8000 euro here in Italy with tables installed?

I don't understand why people try and make money off of installing virtual pinball.  If you think the install guide in the getting started section is no good, please feel free to write a new guide.  At the very least It will save you the steps of securing a domain name, building a website, and burning DVDs.

Hi folks,
Please let me explain some points seen that Tom Tower (person we are talking about) couldn't explain his point of view.

1- I'm a moderator of the website you're talking about, I personally know Tom Tower and I could say without doubt that he doesn't earn money for the DVDs he created. DVDs price have the only realization and shipping costs. The DVDs was for the only people in Italy don't know English and like so much to realize a virtual pincab. They receive support for customizations, settings and all of other things they see on web but they couldn't understand for the language.

2- if you read the guide there is only write in Italian all settings and things user have to do to play with their cab. Instructions how to register b2s and all other settings

3- in DVDs there were few tables and all of this must be an hint for users want to try more tables and come here to take other tables.

4- for all tables are up has been requested permission and I say for sure all tables are not in DVDs. I repeat there were few tables. The most important things for the DVDs were settings: how to set dmd, how to display correctly back glass... All things people couldn't understand in English.

5- all the passion for our pincab has been write in Italian language in the forum and if it has been committed an error surely has been done with good faith and the only purpose was (and is now) to promote virtual pinball also in Italy, country in which a lot of people doesn't know it. I don't see earning money on this.

6- I think everyday on Internet we find people sell complete had with hyper spin or other FE with only purpose to earn money. The only thing he made DVDs with price costs! About this I want to say my opinion.
An Italian guy by Florence (really close to me) bought a virtua pin widebody about one year ago. For some reasons he sell it in market section of another Italian forum some months ago. It' the virtua pin created by the great Noah Fentz (he says in his selling post, so it arrived to him from vpin) and if you talk with this guy it arrived to him ready-to-play.... So we always are talking about 2 DVDs sell at price cost?

7- personally I think a ban is to much for what he have done... But the worst thing is he couldn't be here now and doesn't had the possibility to explain himself.

I think we lost here a great member, for the person, for all the 3D model he created and he creates and personally I was really excited to play tables with them... And it leave in the worst method, banned like a criminal without possibility to explain himself

This is the virtual pinball bought on virtuapin.net by an Italian guy. Please judge yourself if this is not duplicity! Paid 8.000 euro (about 9.000 dollars)! It will never be bought if inside there won't be all tables you coul'd see in the video... Is your work inside this cab that has a real excessive cost.

I've also received images of correspondence between Tom and a member here showing him asking 25 EUROS for the disk, and a 10 EURO donation to the site.

Please, explain that.

My VP table collection is 40gig of vpt/vpx tables and directb2s files (20 gig of vp9 tables) so I guess you would need at least 9 DVDs to distribute it

Well, buyer is just starting trouble, if that's even true, as we DO NOT, and WILL NOT EVER ship with tables and ROMs.

 

If I'm not mistaken, he's also added DOF in his cabinet. Not something we do.

He did, in PM. He wasn't at all understanding or nice about anything. Just more baseless accusations and attempts to disable his uploads. He's still welcome to email me.

 

I'm going to be totally transparent at this point, as I'll be shooting down any and ALL accusations. I'm tired of this crap.

 

If anyone gets tables 'installed by Noah Fentz', it's because I network with them, take the time to show them HOW to install tables, and show them around our great community. We also provide a guide and a number of tables to download, for which I HAVE PERMISSION TO DO FROM THEIR RESPECTIVE AUTHORS.
