Sorry my english ist not as good,

same Problem here, with motu and evil dead - all other still working.

There come an error up, about the vpinmame version ... ?

By clicking ok - it starts - but on coin up it crashes... (Evil Dead testet).

Thinking about the roms !? I looked at the game_name and i don't have

these in my roms folder !

Can you upload the roms there !

Ok well first off MOTU should not call pinmame in any way, just as long as you use the "Basic Table Script" provided. Just copy the contents of this file into the tables script.

The reason I have it set this way is because that is a folder share and instead of updating 2 tables I am just updating one version with two script options (Full & Basic)

Evil deads script at the moment is set to a basic script that doesn't make any call to pinmame. So if you download from that link I provided it should play as it is, because it's currently saved with the basic script.

Just FYI chepas, that is exactly the problem I have.  I do get two errors prior to that (Can't recall what errors of the top on my head) but the table goes ahead into attract mode. Only crashed totally when you hit the 5 key.

New Buck Rogers version here -> http://www.goertz-od...BR_VP10_WIP.vpx

- corrected position of GI flashers -> Thanks Max

- added impulse plunger

- removed work-around for vari-target handling

- did some small graphics corrections

The scaling problem still exists -> presently I don't know if the VP devs can fix it. So you have to align the scaling in the backdrop settings.

I'm interested in feedback regarding the flippers -> to strong?

Cheers

Heino

Sinbad,

First off, Love the table. The flippers aren't too strong for me, but I like my flippers to have some pop to em. Nothing worse than your flipper being limp.

Anyway, I have played the one you had up before you made the corrections and I had zero errors. Everything played smooth.  On this updated version you just posted you mentioned you had removed your work around for the vari-target handling.

In respect to that I have been encountering a script error on Line:551 "Variable uses an Automation type not supported in VBScript"   This happens only when the ball come straight up the middle to the top and hits the other ball that is locked there.

If it's just me and I need a change in VBScript please let me know. Like I said, the previous one does not do that no matter how many times I smack the ball.

Windows 7   AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Quad Core  3.4 Ghz,  Nvidia 970 GTX 4GB, 16GB ram.      Yes, I need a new processor.

Trinity I got the exact same error line 551 the first time I played.

Then I realized I did not have the latest beta build (1843). After downloading it the game seems to play just fine.

Bugs Bunny looks fantastic and plays smooth for me.

However, like all VP10 tables, I seem to suck at them because the ball just goes crazy around the slings and flippers in a way that makes capturing the ball very hard for me.

All tables in VP10 so far are drain monsters. I am a very good pin player on real pins and even VP9. But so far VP10 is just crazy hard. lol

Strange. The older version, the one I downloaded a couple days ago, works great. This new one Sinbad posted today is the one that gives me the script error.

Sindbad,

Looks and plays great. Flippers are fine. I think you need the flipper power to hit the top center Veri-Target. They could still come down a little and still be effective if you wanted to lower it.

Hi Heino:  The table plays well (remember folks as mentioned, always use the latest VP10 exe, solves a lot of issues :) ).  I don't think I've played this enough yet to fully comment (only two games but not available to fully test right now), I do find it plays a little fast at the moment, not sure if it's due to the flipper strength or other issue (ie: playfield friction?)   Still, sometimes you just have games that appear fast than a few games in, it doesn't feel like that anymore, so take my comments with a grain of salt, I only mention it as you've stated you've done changes to the flipper strength.  This is going to be a superb table when released and IMHO, it's actually pretty superb right now! ;)

I got the vbscript error with my first shot. Just happened to hit the varitarget. I blocked that off with a wall and enjoy playing it.

The flippers are too strong in my opinion but only because the ramp up is zero. With a value of three, fineness is possible but so is the power needed

Wall29, a chrome wall mid right,.has zero friction and causes the ball to go ballistic.

I am going to like this table a lot.

Sindbad, brutal game... never played a real one so I'm not 100% qualified to comment, but the table feels fast. I think the rubbers "return" the ball too quickly, in my opinion this is an issue with the VP Rubber object. I've been using these only visually, and using a wall behind the rubber to act as the collidable object.

Really enjoying this one Fren. Had trouble getting your vp9 version working (problem on my side for sure) This one rocks!

Thank you

I missed this post... I'm sorry you had issues, but hopefully you can forget the vp9 version now! It looks and plays terrible compared to this! VP10 is such an improvement.

Beta8 in sig. (skipped 7) sets the ball size to 51. The only issue with 53 was the plunger area where it don't really belong anyway. It's big enough with 51 though.

Don't panic if you don't like the color/graphics mod. It is experimental and the original graphics are in the manager still.

Not much other than that and a few lights that are rendered free in the off state.

It means that it will work with the night/day slider. When the table is made lighter or darker, so will the backdrop image. It is most useful in DT mode.

The night/day slider is in the table view though, under lighting at the bottom of the right pane.

Sorry guys,

I forgot to inform you: you have to use the latest VP exe for the Buck Rogers, otherwise you'll get a the script error.

now that is a great tool to tune light to how the user like it.....

I hope someone does a tutorial on converting tables to VPX

Hi,

don`t know why, but this work for me, re-download solved the Problems for

both tables Motu and Evil Dead (Nothing changed).

Great work looks awesome !

But I have no music and no DMD, just a few sounds hitting the slingshosts and so...

On your youtube video is with music and dmd.

Is there something missing ?

Thank you very much !

Jochen

My English is realy bad ... I know ;-)
