Some people asked me if a 4/3 version will be done and what would be my next table.
For the first question, unfortunately I won't convert the table because it would take another 5 or 6 months and since I'm not a 4/3 player, it's too much work. I'm sorry about that.
For the second question, I didn't plan to start another table immediately, because I need to restore the battery before ^^.
But after the updates and bug fixes, I'm going to take a look at a possible B2S version, hopefully it's not too complicated to do.

Would love to see more tables created with this detail on VP. It really makes all the other VP tables look awful by comparison. At least we know what VP can do with some serious talent behind it.
Just a fantastic job Tipoto. Wish VP had more talent like yours!

Well [Profanity Removed] you jonbaker I guess I should just quit now we have a pro making tables.
Sorry Noah I'm just saying what every other author is thinking

Hey and thanks for a great table.
Unfortunately, I also get the error with the cannon described earlier in this thread. With the LedWiz disconnected, or the T2 line removed from ledcontrol.ini, it works just fine. Connect the LedWiz, restart VP and it crashes on cannon firing. One thing that might be worthy of note is that with the LedWiz connected, the cannon doesn't animate at all. It just stands still in the top position until it autofires, at which point it gives the script error.
I'm running core.vbs v3.33 if that might be relevant.
Thanks again!

here's the error that pops up when using the Ledwiz core, maybe it helps narrowing down the problem :

So you have problem using LEDWiz? I think I made the script in my cab from scratch, and it works without any hustle!
Have the gun problem though, and the scripts hangs with and error...
Baco,,, I guess I'm in the same situation then! Haven't tried running it without using the LEDWiz config.
Same for me with the frozen up gun animation.
Mr.T, WOW! This table rocks so much!!! Great work!

WOW! This is an incredible achievement! This author bows down to your hard work and dedication to this table!
It's better then I thought it would be (and I already had high expectations) and the best part is that you completed it, released it, and it works beautifully. I simply love it and I don't even have a cab to play it on yet. I'll just have to deal with the stiff neck from looking at it sideways.
THANK YOU! For your hard work, your dedication, and your gift to the community. Really hope to see more of these gems coming off your assembly line.
Oh love those ball reflections!

Thanks for the kind words and for your inventiveness, because thanks to you I was able to add the ball reflection... And maybe the ball collision script is yours (not sure for this one).
Anyways... It makes me think that there is no reason to turn this thread on another discussion.
To be able to make this table, I opened tons of tables from all the authors of VPforums in order to understand the way they work. I didn't reinvent the wheel, I'm just using what the others have done before and I would be happy if someone opens my table to understand the way I work.
If you take a look at my options in the script, I put the possibility to remove my logo, it was for this reason, but also, I went even further, if you replace 0 by 2, there is the VPForums logo showing up! I guess I should have released the table with this logo instead.

Tipto dude, I don't think I'm crazy... it does seem to play faster on my gaming pc. Not that it slows down or really stutters on my cab (which is no slouch of pc) but it just plays slower... bizarre. The flow down the table is more linear on my cab and the ball doesn't have much acceleration, total opposite on my W7 pc.
Also, did you mention how you enable the profanity rom? Is it enabled by default?
Jonbaker - 3 posts in, new member, fave pin is this one (surprise, surprise) because it's got the best gfx. Tool.

Hi Tipoto,
I'm really glad I finally found some time to play this beauty, and WOW.....the chrome is hurting my eyes so shiny
I play this on a Win7 32 bits system with a quadcore i7 860 2.8 GHz, 4GB RAM, and a HD 5770 with 1 GB. When I use VP on max video settings I do get quite some stutter with payback time and some light stutter with multiball. Have yet to play around with the settings to see if I can get it all smooth, but I'm hopeful I'll get there. All is well graphical except for some strange line that runs vertically over the bigger T2 head at the top of the table. I'll read the rest of the thread to see if somebody came up with the same glitch, otherwise I'll supply a screenshot.
As for gameplay: I was pretty good at the real life machine back in my college days, but it hands me my @ss right now....
I still have to crack 50M. I fancy myself an average to good scorer on VP tables so reading that Groni got to 500M on one ball makes me feel very modest about my own prowess. If it gets even more difficult I'll may have to throw in the towel....
Anyway, I don't object to the physics feel it has right now, although it does makes you work hard for the ramps. The biggest issue I have with the table at this moment is that I don't like the high reactivity of the slingshots, they fire at the slightest touch. I don't remember that from the table I played live, but I may be mistaken. Could you take a look into that? I love the way the cannon accelerates slightly when it turns, I love details like that!
Great work and I really look forward to the next project,
Slam23
PS: +1 to the suggestion you tackle Indy '93 next, that would be totally awesome!

Oz, you dont have to be a table author to be thinking the same way you are. There have been a huge slew of amazing FS tables done by many authors over the last 2+ years.
I was just happy that I could step out from the background to give the much needed quality resources on Groni's Banzai Run (or is it my Banzai since the resources are off my pin
Thanks Tipto and all Table Authors!!!

I'm gonna take a look at slingshot, but if I want to make the table harder, I should increase even more the reactivity instead... But I will see what I can do
For the glitch, are you playing on 1920 X 1080? If so, yes, a screenshot could help
Thanks for the feedback, it's the good time for that now.
Also, for the others people having the cannon issue, I will investigate again tonight, but it's not easy to fix a bug without having the bug :/

Hi Tipoto,
Thanks for the quick reply. The thing with the slingshots is that for them to react correctly, they should not react every time a ball hits them, it should mainly depend on force and angle of impact. A good example of this would be the slingshots in JP's LOTR (2.3 FS). If a ball rolls along the slingshots, they don't react at all. If the ball impacts on an angle (and with some force) they react. That feels natural and logical to me when compared to life pins. But I would really like other players to respond to this because maybe I'm wrong about this (I don't get to play real pins very often, so this is mainly from memory). Maybe you can use those settings JP used for his slingshots?
This is the glitch (red arrows put in by me
)
Slam23
PS That Skyrim wallpaper accidentally hitchhiked onto my screenshot, it's not a shameless plug for a greatlooking cRPG by any means.....
Guess it's my two-monitor setup and the way my computer sees that as 1 desktop or something like that!

Just saying. Producing a remake of a table doesn't require that much skill, given that you're just copying the work created by the original designers. But this table IS a work of art and should be recognized as something quite special. More creativity is needed in VP I think. A talent like this is very rare indeed.

slam23 since you pointed out where those lines came from. That make sense to me. I'm thinking it ether reels issue or our graphics card driver issue or I would say both.
I'm not talking about the images that he done. Images didn't do that.

Do you have any clue how insensitive a statement that is?? What you have just said, is that everyone before this table came out is not serious talent. I bet you still play those talent-less tables every day too. Im not trying to start a flame war here but dammit, something has to be said about the comments flying around here. I won't let a statement like above stay out there without rebuttal. These guys work too hard and shouldn't have to put up with this crap. Every author that has decided to SHARE something with us is literally GIVING you his/her free time, and getting almost NOTHING in return, and in some cases, the stupid comments like above. So please THINK before you type
PS Awesome table tipoto, im sorry this has hijacked your moment. Thanks for sharing....

You may want to put aside that shovel and get yourself a backhoe for the hole you're digging.
You really think it's that easy to put a quality table together? Cool, if you could get me a Champion Pub by the end of the year, that would be great. Thanks.
