having play this table alot in real life I can say that the upper flipper is extremly realistic, you cant expect to make the shot every time.
like the real table once you miss a shot you rarely get a second chance
I feel like jpsalas played this table his whole life

Well, I haven't seen this table in reality, only in the videos from youtube and papa
The problem with that ramp is that is very stepped up, so you need a hard shot to get it. So I guess to make it easier you need to increase the flipper strength, but that may send the ball outside the playing area and get stuck. But it won't hurt trying

I've really been enjoying this table but I have this odd graphics glitch on the upper playfield lights. When they are turned on they allow the structures behind them to be seen. Is there a setting that I need to change to correct this? Here is a photo of the issue.

It will work fine in VP 9.2.1
If you want to use it in VP 9.9.x, Open the table and go to Edit ->Select Element, and select l17, l17a, l17b, l55, l55a, and l55b (ctl-click to select them all at once). In the Options tabl on the right change Depth Bias from 0 to -50
