Keep in mind that the wood "rises" when you prime/paint it the first time, prime, sand, prime, and look at the result, repeat if necessary...

Just take your time sorting out the graphics, you'll find someone. It's the bit you dont want to mess up.
You have plenty of building and setting up to do 1st anyway.

i kind of want to get the gfx on before i assemble the cab that way it will be a lot easier to take the panels in than transport the whole cab. i can just put the panels in the back of the car if i can find a place to do it tongue.gif

That should look pretty cool. I'm looking forward to a picture of it all glowing.

If the PC shuts down, the PSU should also power down and your buttons should go out. The USB ports should power down, too.

I had plans to have a master power switch on mine to shut everything down (I use an external power supply to deal with LEDs and stuff). I may throw together a circuit that watches the power on the PC, and if the power drops (ie: it shut down and powered itself off), it'll trip a relay to kill the external power supply - that might be easier, actually, come to think of it *grin*.

For shutting down the power do you not have the smart power strips in Oz?

The multiple outlet strips that are Eco friendly and when they sense the monitored device is no longer pulling power it shuts the power to the child outlets.

This is what I run, cost about $30 only need to then wire a single momentary button for the pc.

those things turn the tv off standby which pretty much does the same thing if i turned it off from the wall which causes above problem. screw it i'll just leave the damn things lit all the time.
