You need to have the B2Bcollision.vbs file in the same folder as the table. This creates the ball collision sound during multiball and many tables use it.

Can"T find the B2Bcollision.vbs file ...

I searched everywhere sad.gif

Strange thing is that all my tables work with the exeption of Independence day.

While searching, did you look into the archive?

It's in the archive.

when you download the table it is in a zip file. the .vpt as well as the .vbs file must be extracted into the table folder
a zip file is an archive

It's really rare, but the ball is still getting stuck here

Well... I hadn't even thought about this table in a very long time. When I fired it up yesterday to compare it to my WIPs, I was not satisfied with it. So I spent today updating the file and I am much happier with how it looks and plays now.

CHANGES INCLUDE:

CHANGES IN UPDATE v2.0:

*OPTIMIZED for VP9.9
*ALIEN HEAD Lights Display Properly on VP9.1+
*Uses ALPHA RAMPS For Better Appearance
*Balls Enter and TRAVEL RAMPS More Easily
*Improved PHYSICS & GAMEPLAY
*Updated SUBWAY SCRIPT
*ALIEN HEAD Back Entry Now Works
*ALIEN HEAD Animates Faster
*Fixed ALIEN HEAD Trigger Misfire
*Timer Used to SIMULATE DYNAMIC LIGHTING Effects
*Updated SOUND EFFECTS
*ANIMATED SLINGSHOTS
*BALL LAUNCH Will Randomly Hit Each of Three Drop-Slots
*Adjusted FLIPPER COLORS

*Numerous Other Adjustments

The old 1.3 file is still available in case v2.0 isn't to your liking. I would have liked to update the lighting details a bit, but I can't locate the original files I used. Oh well, guess I gotta move on ; )

Report any bugs you find and I'll see what I can do to eliminate them. Plays fine on my system though after much testing.

Can't download full screen version - seems like file is missing at the moment.

Desktop is not widescreen and can't be converted by simple X Scale change... It's 2014 mate - why not widescreen?!

Anyway thank you a lot, guess I will have to play this one at window  :)

For some reason the default download file for the FS file is the old version 1.3. The link to v2.0 is on the right-hand side. I'll delete the old version so there's no more confusion. Here is the link to the FS v2.0:

http://www.vpforums....ownload&id=1162

I released the original desktop version of the game 4 years ago, and at the time I had a 4:3 monitor, as did many people. Yes, I could make this into a widescreen table, but that will take time. I had not planned on spending much time on this old project, as I'd rather get my 2 newer WIPs finished. Perhaps I'll convert it to 16:9 sometime in the future.

I take it back! Version 2.0 has disappeared from the download section. I'll re-upload it when I get home this evening.

Actually Vinthar, you're right. It is 2014. And it should be widescreen.

I'll get it to 16:9 shortly...

Thanx a lot mate - I will be waiting.

I really like this table, I played 1.3 on my pivot monitor for a long time and now I replaced it with 2.0, but I would LOVE to have desktop widescreen ver on my laptop too, and I am sure I am not the only one.

Are you referring to where the two long ramps intersect in the middle of the playfield? If not, take a screenshot and circle the spot where this is happening and I'll get it fixed.

I'll be releasing v2.1 very soon. Changes (so far) include:

* New Alien Head Open & Close Animation (uses 4 image frames instead of 1) Looks Much Better

* Release Attackers / Destroyers Uses 3 Lights (as it is supposed to) Instead of 1 (Each)

* Better Looking VUK (Metal ramps curve upward)

* Fixed Slingshot Colors

Still To-Do:

* New Alien "Eyes" Animation

* Less Powerful Flippers

* Fix Ball Sticking on Ramp (Someone tell me exactly where this happens!)

* Miscelaneous Other Adjustments
