Not really a bug JP but kind of broken still.

If the ball goes into that left lower kickerhole, it shoots it out in such a way that if you don't flip at the ball it will bounce up hit a sling and back into the kicker hole and repeat. I've had it repeat up to 16 times before it stopped.

I noticed that same thing when I first tried this table. I didn't mention it cuz it wasn't really a glitch & of course VP isn't perfect. However, I think there can be a simple fix for this. Just add a little variation onto the kickout angle. Give or take 2 or more degrees at random, that should do the trick. After all, even in real life there is some kicker variation.

Anyhow, thanks JP for listening to the feedback here & implementing it into the latest version, especially with the removal of the extra slingshots that I mentioned after the last version, now with those gone the game can play & sound much more realistic in the upper PF. Actually throughout the years a lot of people have mistaken leaf switches for slingshots in VP tables since it can get confusing if you aren't familiar with the real versions of some tables. I've modded many tables where I had to fix this to make a game play more realistic.
What I would suggest is when making a table & you are unsure about what is a slingshot & what isn't, just check the table out at IPDB, it usually lists all that stuff in the description. Or you can also look at some of the pics of the underside of the PF to see what is really going on.

I think I already mentioned this but did you consider disabling "render shadows"? I think you should do this for all games because VP's old shadowing method was never very good, it creates shadows nothing like anything I ever see on my real pins. On top of that, I think I mentioned how it can mess with an objects colors. Like here on CBW, the left slingshot animation is very grey/black & doesn't match the white rubber like the right slingshot animation does. I just think there is only downside to having shadows enabled.

Yet if people really want it then they can enable it themselves. Sure they can also disable it themselves but I think the table should be published, defaulted with no shadows. With the way tables are made today there just isn't any benefit to this setting, plus the fact that many tables have their own lighting/shadowing built into the textures.

I have given a lot of thought about the shadows. I like those shadows, I feel it gives a more 3D look to the table. I know it is a pain in the &%¤ when the shadows make walls darker than they should, and many times I have to disable the shadows of some objects so they don't darken up some of the walls (mostly flashers). But without shadows the tables look to me flat without that extra contrast between the plastics and the playfield.

I think the shadows can be disabled if the tables is one of those "night" mods, since everything is very dark until turned on, and since there are no shadows in the dark... smile.gif But I like my tables a little lighter, a kind of daylight, so I like to see some shadows just for the 3D look. But I'm not finished with this, so I'll see if I find a solution which I like smile.gif To turn off the shadows I guess I'll need to work a little more with photoshop to get the contrasts like I want smile.gif I just don't like to look at a table without any kind of shadow at all.

For example, this is the kind of ilumination I like. Not too bright and too not dark. You are able to see the lights turned on, but you still can see some shadowing due to the daylight.

About the kicker randomness: I use to add an angle variation of 2 to all my kickers, but I guess it is a little to small variation for this kicker. You'll find this statement in line 114: .KickAngleVar = 2 just change this number 2 for a higher one to get some more random.

Hey tosoneiro:

You'll need to write down the errors, because we can't see your monitor :) And we'll see whats not working.

(and in Spanish)
Escribe aquí los errores, ya que no podemos ver tu monitor :) Y así podremos ver lo que no funciona.

vpinmame ver 01120100 required.

I don't speak a word of spanish, but that looks like VP is either not installed correctly or not run as administrator in Win7.
I would have linked the spanish setup tutorial, but the link is dead. Anyhow, here's the english one: :click-me:

(I have explained to him in a PM, he is trying to play a very old table and the line which loads gts3.VBS is old and wrong, searching for the gts3.VBS only in the current directory. That line must be changed to search the gts3.VBS in the scripts folder too)

1.3 Update for VP913
- added new HD graphics, new sounds, changed several settings, added support for analog plunger and B2B collision sounds and most of all added support for the new collision mass for VP913 (thanks cupid for that feature).

This version must be played with the new VP9.1.3
