You'll have to forget about the plunger reel for now. Its a horizontal graphic that would have to be remade as vertical and the reel would have to change. This is something that will be done for the update.

In the meantime you can cut a thin rectangle in the apron decal (export, load image in paint program, draw a rectangle around the plunger area and cut, save and reimport)

Then just click on the plunger object, change it to plunger type modern, and click visible. Then you have a visible working modern plunger.

(Oh, and you will have to change the X scale to 1.41 or you'll get graphic glitches.)

I'm personally trying to learn more about table creation and followed the instructions on the previous page to convert this to fullscreen.  Also turned off the EM Reels and edited the script to allow B2S and hide the DMD.

The only problem is the plunger is missing as it was an EM Reel.  I thought there might be a plunger hidden under the apron decal so I learned how to export the image edit it to make the plunger hole transparent and re-added it.

I know that Noah is looking at what needs to be done for this table but for my education it would be great to get some help so I can learn how to add the plunger.

Thanks.  I had cut the hole in the Apron and actually did it using the oval shape in the current image but when changing the plunger to visible I didn't see the plunger.  I didn't know about the changing the plunger type to "modern". I tried that and it was still invisible.

Am I missing something?

Looks correct. Are you running one of the newer builds of VP like 436 or higher? The modern plunger that is included in VP was added late in the VP914 cycle.

It should look like this:

I never heard of this modern looking plunger.  Wow can it be improved further to look like a spring someday?  I always thought it would be great to have a nice looking plunger build in to VP without using all the other methods that people have come up with.

I'll look at what I have and what needs to be done. If it's not much, which I suspect it isn't, I'll finish it and upload it. I made a lot of improvements, so I'd like to be able to finish it.

Thanks.

That would be cool. I and many others would appreciate it. Thanks! :)

Yea I'm running 914.  Tried it in newer revs (445 & 474) as well.

Also note I can make it visible by selecting a surface of WB2 it works but appears above the Apron.  (If I set it the surface to Apron it obviously appears above it but doesn't hit the ball.  With WB2 it at least hits the ball. :) )
