Mike can you double check your zscale?
 

I will check tommorow. I have indeed 10.7 as Wieshund also have.
Just loaded the table and play a bit. Was not a 1 off, but multiple times.
Without ball control !

With nudging i could get the ball through the ramp again.

Really odd, that it is only happen on my cabinet

I have the ramp issue now on 10.7 also.. And I don't have this mod I use the original table.

Zscale is just 1, but isn't that just for camera view ?

Added some beer coasters to my rear  legs, but no luck at all :P
With ball control It was easy to reproduce the stuck at the corner of the ramp to the rail, but not the ramp itself under the space ship.

 

Didn't noticed it yesterday, but also have the same issue on the other ramp

I tested it with 10.6 and both ramps are working fine. even with slow balls on the ramp all went smooth.
I will use this table with vpx 10.6 !
My 10.7 version is rc 328

Sorry, never realized, this could be a Visual Pinball 10.7 issue

Yeah, physics in 328 were proper borked. Good idea to check 10.6 tables in 10.6 if anything at all comes up in 10.7, and submit the bug to the beta thread if it is indeed 10.7 screwing things up.

And z-scale is the only PoV option that is *not* just camera, it messes up physics. Maybe Toxie and Fuzzel will address that someday, but for now never change it.

Yeah, physics in 328 were proper borked. Good idea to check 10.6 tables in 10.6 if anything at all comes up in 10.7, and submit the bug to the beta thread if it is indeed 10.7 screwing things up.



 

 

Except 10.7 R336 is the current version, Toxie fixed R228 the same day

Better to follow Actions · vpinball/vpinball (github.com) because a lot goes on there faster than the thread updates.

z scale is not a POV
technically, Z scale should come out as an option since it is not the same thing as what X and Y are at all and has 0 use what so ever as a monitor does not have a Z plane
i can not remotely fathom a guess as to what the original intention of it was, it does not even make a good technical tool, i tried to use it to make a kind of exploded view
set of screen shots, but it does not work good for that either.

Could be worse?
Least you didnt use his mouth as an ash tray :)

 

I use the github, because toxie or fuzzel will fix or update 20 things here and there in between work and real life

and apply the commits and run the build, but not get time to do anything in the forum

and the builds usually at least give a hint to what was updated, as much as github allows for, which isnt a lot of text in the actions description

Plus github keeps the like last month or so work of revisions, in case you need to jump back for some reason

Oh no i never wouldt do it! I have respect for everyone who is helping the community. And everybody has his opinion.

I used the vp thread post as that was a RC version
Maybe I'm old fashion, but thought that RC means release candidate and should slighty change to the real version. I'm working for a long time with Microsoft products as well, and also have a strange understanding of rc's

I'm very new to this. Is there a reason the cannons aren't getting loaded for Battle Simulation and Ferengi Freighter? When these events are lit/triggered the ball just gets dispensed into the left track instead of getting loaded in a cannon.

Hopefully, you already found your answer a while back.

 

If not ... Maybe be sure to allow the 3-4 balls to load-and-inventory as you see the rom-version in DMD (and the machine initializes). I also try to finish all games before I exit or stop-running the Table.

I finally experienced some lag while playing this Table.

 

Seems to happen when ... like when the Asteroids explode, all the lights on the playfield seem to be spinning in unison, the flashers are going, and there is one or more balls in play. I got some slowing for a few seconds there ... and then it was fine.

 

Has anyone else seen this? I've got an Intel-i5 / 8gb ram/ SSD / Nvidia GTX-1660-Super-6gb on Windows-10 Pro 64bit.

 

If you think it might be on my end, I am open to suggestions. It hadn't been booted-up too long, so I'm wondering if maybe Windows was doing some background house-keeping?
