Hey 3rdaxis, great update! Love the lighting and physics tweaks, new flippers are very nice (thanks g5k). The target animations are awesome, really add to the realism. Auto play is the BOMB, you could almost use it for gambling  :D Next thing you need to do is code 2-player human versus machine mode, that would be sweet.. Many thanks!

Maybe I should call it gambling mode. Just select the number of players betting and go for it;)

Looks and play awesome.
Only I get no audio. Just the jungle sounds in the beginning, and the only the bare table sounds when playing.
No FX and no music.

Playing with 10.6, all settings standard.

Hey, Music only works during "Autoplay". If you are in Autoplay and it still isn't working go into the editor and hit F2 to bring up the Sound Manager and see if "AutoplayTrack1,2,3" are there and that they play. Maybe it was a downloading issue. I doubt it though.

This will eventually be implemented in the next release as a "Re-Mastered" mode that will work during actual game play along with some other added features. Once I finish writing the spaghetti code of course...

Thanks for your swift reply.
I understand the music part.
Targets or roll overs for that matter don't make any sound.

All I hear is a rolling ball and flippers. Nothing else.
Strange huh?
Deleted the nvram and downloaded a new rom.

Do you mean sounds like these? https://www.youtube....eature=youtu.be

Maybe there is an issue with you audio preferences? dfgdf.png

I usually keep my "sound effect" volume rather low but can still hear them clearly.

Update V1.4. Hope everyone enjoy's the changes made. Had a complete re-think as far as the lighting and overall look of the table including all the new things I've learned since working on Firepower with G5K and Slydog43.  I've put this new knowledge into Grand Lizard V1.4. No changes to the physics or gameplay. This is purely a graphic's update. I suggest as always to go through the THX set-up to ensure you are experiencing this table as it was  intended. This table will require VPX V10.6 or later to run properly.

Keeps getting better! Thank you! What do you mean by THX setup? It doesn’t seem like anything is missing when I play

Look under "Table options" in the script for the instructions. Basically you want to switch the instruction cards to a set of THX standards cards (Card 2) and set the lighting to calibrate the brightness to my reference.

Hey guys check out the new lizard mesh and colored texture for GL:

bd1_color.jpg

This ended up costing me $50 to have done, and it will be a great asset for the table. At current, the lizard head on 3rd's table is just a flat image. But that will soon change and the table will be even better.

But I want to kindly request that the community chip in a little for the scan. I will cover $10 of it. If anyone else can help. Please send me a PM.

Thanks

Many thanks to Thalamus, htamas  and cognis for contributing to the cost of the scan. 3rd now has the files so we can expect a nice rev real soon.

Oh and BTW, I picked up a very nice GL a few weeks ago for $100, I shit you not...$100. Just had to gloat on this find. Dude wanted it gone in a hurry.

Yes I can hear you guys saying "WOW".  :)

It was a good score for sure. I drove 200ish miles to get that very night.

Thanks everyone for the contributions. The cost is now covered.

I think we'd all drive 200 miles to get a table for $100!  That's awesome.  And don't tell us it maybe had the rare alternate backglass?!??

Did not about the rare alternate. Looks like the normal one to me.
