That's awesome!   Possible you can share it?  Would love to try it out with my PinSim and my Rift!

Ah Ok. That really does look great though,   The wait is going to be brutal!   ha

Seems like it won't be long before we need a section for VR optimized tables.

In the example table for instance, I see a pop bumper ring falling through the table at the start and continue falling.

It could be the "Ring Drop Offset" with a weird value (bumper control panel), usually this parameter is 0.
I speak for the regular version of VPX.

Incredible stuff guys! Could you please a leave a tutorial for the game room? Is it static and "decoupled" from the table? So there are no curvature on the wall when you move your head, right?

Oh yeah, and as mentioned. A VPX-VR section für tables downloads would be awesome!

What we also need is rumble/feedback on the pinsim. I already started a discussion here:

https://www.vpforums...showtopic=41836

If you guys have any other ideas how to get this run, please share.

Right now the room is stored with the table, but I'm hoping that VPX VR itself will have a nice room environment in the future so that all tables will work with it without modification.  This stuff is just so cool, I think the value of my real collection just fell a little :)

Why these tables VR-Ready are not shareable today?

Found something interesting.  While I could install the directB2S backglasses and see them, I could not get the DMD working in most cases.   Very few tables would have a working DMD even though others here said the DMD was working for them.   After a few days of this I decided to go ahead and install a second monitor on my PC.  As soon as I did that, the DMD now shows up and works on the tables in VR.   Figured i'd mention that for anyone that was having that issue.   Much more fun to play when you have a DMD that is for sure.

Someone on VPVR Sourceforge ticket#9 mentioned that he noticed that the tables that displayed the DMD in VR, all had a textbox in the editor backdrop.

I looked at few tables and found the same:

Besides the Textbox these tables also have varying lines of code using the VPMDMD statements.

A testbox seems easy enough to add to the backdrop, but do any of you coders with a VR Headset to test,  have any idea what a simple line or 2 of code might work that can be inserted in tables. that might trigger the DMD onto the VR Headset.

I tried cut and paste but obliviously are missing other dependent lines of code and get various errors starting the tables, it's way over my abilities.

To my knowledge one just has to enable the VPM DMD dumping via the script via VPMDMD, but i have not tested all of that myself..

Can't figure out the DMD stuff either.  I have tried setting UseVPMDMD = 1 and UseVPMColoredDMD = 1, added a textbox with the text dmd, but still nothing.  Textbox shows DMD in regular VPX 10.6 but nothing in the VR version.  I'm also not running b2s on my vr rig, but TAF works fine but most don't show a DMD.

Anyone have a partial list of DMD that work in VR, I want to dive in more to figure this out.

What "mode" does it run under? Check the script where the vpdmd is hidden for FS mode and comment out that line. Does it show then?

it runs in desktop mode, I can change the controller.hidden to 0 but without any change.  Not sure how it displays a dmd and how does it know where to place it in the backbox.  I'm not running B2s.server either.

Can you give an example of what the code would be, to try it out?

Here are some Examples of tables that had no DMD until after I plugged a second monitor in to my PC.  This is the Standard VPX tables running with B2S backglasses.

Star Trek The Next Generation

Twilight Zone

AC/DC

Attack from Mars

Also Whirlwind standard VPX table as well as some others won'r run for me but the FSS version of Whilrwind works fine and has a working DMD

Maybe it doesn't like the textbox.   Try adding a new FLASHER object to it and name it DMD and check the box for use script DMD. I would think that would definitely work, Obviously you have to size/position it correctly.

Thanks for the input, but at least on my system the same thing happens (nothing is displayed).  Still messing around.  What is another table that has a working DMD in regular desktop mode?
