I'm not seeing where to set controller for b2s   I've scrolled through the script several times. What line can I find it on?

Bob,
Here's what worked for me......I got this information from another site.

On line 10 of the script add the following:
ExecuteGlobal GetTextFile("controller.vbs")

Then on line 84 add the following:
LoadEM

Remember to make sure the table and backglass file names match.

That worked for me using Ginsonics b2s backglass.

@SPARKY70, to get DirectB2S backglass work, you always have to set controller to B2S.Server AND have the table and backglass filenames match (or almost match).

The controller.b2sname="xxx" is used by B2SServer to store directb2s settings in the B2STableSettings.xml file.  For example if you changed the backglass to Fantasy mode or Hide the DMD, you would see an "xxx" entry in the xml file with those settings

thanks gtx, i understand the first part about matching filenames, but is it correct that i leave "XXX"?

or should i have the backglass name between the quotes?

if i am supposed to have the backglass filename between the quotes, i t didnt work for me when i did that.thanks/

You can use what ever you want in the quotes, "gtxjoe" "hello" "1234" "xxx" "whatever", but it won't help to display the backglass on the 2nd monitor.  That line has nothing to do with launching a backglass, it is used for storing backglass settings to a file,.  It should be unique for every table, but it can be whatever name you want.  The name of the table would be a good recommendation but not required

Maybe I missed it somewhere.

This table supports DOF, yes? I cant figure out how to get my LED's and solenoids working. Is there a line in the script that needs to be edited?

Awesome table JP!!!

You should also update your dof ini file since this is a new table

I'm having trouble getting the DOF to work too. I've got the latest release of DOF and my ini updates automatically when I boot up the machine. I have the backglass working, but nothing going for my lights or solenoids. Any tips?

As GTXJOE says: don't forget to make a new ini file bij logging in into your dof-contig-tool account and generate a new configfile and save it to the right dir on your harddisk.

And make sure you have the JP's Ghostbusters Slimer v1.0.1_DOF  file

Well, I've now redownloaded the table and updated all my DOF files twice. Still no lights and pops. Surely I'm just skipping over something obvious. Time to walk away for a bit.

try to delete the ini files and if a regular table like afm still have feedback, you have ini files somewhere else that are loaded prime to your new files

I tried removing the ini files and nothing worked. I then replaced them and everything but ghostbusters was working. Then I somehow opened the file from my downloads folder instead of my tables folder and DOF worked on ghostbusters once, so I moved that file to my tables folder. Then it didn't work. Then I tried it again in my downloads folder and it didn't work again. I am so very confused.

Windows 10

Running  VPX 10.2  rev. 2847 and this file JP's Ghostbusters Slimer v1.0.1_DOF

running Dof-3

Ledwiz works fine

With this game my Sainsmart board will not work and if I quit this game and run another game the same results but if I close VPX 10.2 restart run the other game everything works fine...

So as soon as I run this game the Sainsmart board Will no longer work for any game unless I restart VPX 10.2 and don't run this game

Weird. I'm running two LEDWiz units and like I said it worked a couple times. I'm just going to leave it alone for now, this table is too fun to stop playing even without blinking lights and loud noises!
