the version field would be the hardest... who would know or could know the version there uploading... and if you picked the same as someone else who's overrides who's?

I would like to also hear the walk through of the end user and what they see and do when they decide on a title

The uploader doesn't determine the version. The first upload is version one, if they go to the download and choose to upload a new file, the next newer file becomes version version two.

For the download experience, I'm curious what Paul already has in mind to implement before I make more comments.

If Paul has some kind of GUI or Frontend in mind; then in the instance where there are multiple choices, those choices could present themselves in the GUI as select-able choices which then the member could preview and choose exactly what they wanted.

I personally wouldn't mind doing everything one by one (even all the artwork) if there was some GUI that interfaced with the site having the different categories with select-able target directories.

This would ease the pain a lot and still give people the feeling or satisfaction of doing it all themselves so the end result is their setup being truly unique.

Hey guys,

Just wanted to apologize here for the tone I used after doing some thinking and coming back here with a fresh head.

After doing some thinking, I realize now it's pretty ridiculous to require Table Authors to do even more work than they already do.

I apologize for being so demanding and impatient. I just wanted to be up and playing instantly without doing any work.

Thanks to everyone for what they do. Now to figure out how to sneak a VirtuaPin into our house without the wife getting upset :D

It's o.k. Replay, VP can be frustrating. But once you get all figured out you will be glad you spent the time to learn everything so in the future it will be a breeze.
