I don't want to step on any ones toes

but i download this table

http://www.vpforums....&showfile=11355

it seemed like it was a VP8 import to VP10 and it got an image and a few primitive  upgrades.

I stripped the table  to its basic components and rebuilt it using a VPX template.

it now has the correct dimensions now and I completely rebuilt the code.

get them all from my mega folder

SMDM was mine .. it wasnt a vp8 import but from scratch.. Any improvements is fine by me :)

Couple more minor code fixes needed..

Change spinner object to spinner2 and then make line 188  Spinner2_Spin. Otherwise it conflicts with the Spinner collection and doesnt register the hit.

'Spinner
Sub Spinner2_Spin():vpmTimer.pulsesw 20 : playsound"fx_spinner" : End Sub

Line 271 needs to be 53, not 52. It ends up showing the puck light rather then the pair of spinner bonus lights.
Lights(53)=array(Light53,Light53a) ' bug was 52

I think the diverter doesnt work either... the ball just passes right thru. The non-visible object OutGate needs some height, say 40.

You upload but admin has to review the file before it's approved, so it can take a while

Congo 1.0 - auto fire doesn't appear to be working on a ball save. May just need to move the switch in the launch lane or something. I can hear it clicking though. I wind up having to manually launch.

Ball save/Auto launch is working for me.

Table seems to allow manual re-launch during skillshot attempt, i.e.if no skillshot targets hit (or any major item) and ball drains, the table says "shoot the ball" and lets you manually plunge.  After skillshot mode is over, "Ball Save" and autofire wors for x seconds.

Table looks and play great!  Feedback - a few sounds are scripted but missing, ball release, volcano popper, rollover switches, coin, plunger,

Does anyone know what happened to the Centaur VPX table?  Seems all the links I can find are dead.

No worries I was hoping there would be an official VPX 10.1 release coming.

at some point I will but the table needed to be tested and updated from VPX beta to the official release,  And it was one of the tables that was broken in with the release of VP 10.1,

the captive ball error is a very easy fix I just need to sit down and do it.

and I never got any feedback on the table so I assumed it was a table with very little interest.

I remember I had a error of unlimited ball release when multi ball. I updated the code,  but who knows what other errors might be present.

Hi 32assassin, feel free to send me a link to your latest Centaur beta and I'll be happy to provide feedback!  Thanks!

Anyone know if King Kong is still being worked on?  So far the person designing it has done a great job.

I agree, I first played the fp version of this table and really liked it, when I saw the vpx version I was really excited, it does look very good and would love to have it completed somewhat in order to play in the cab,

Does anyone happen to still have a copy of the Centaur beta listed in the original post?  The link is dead and I would love to try it out.  Thanks.

*edit*  Ok, I'm good now.    :)

As far as feedback for Centaur (just read above), 32assassin, it is great.  I just did a quick fix on the captive ball and it's playing like a champ.  It's among my favorite tables and you did a great job on it.  Definitely one people are going to want in their VPX library.  You should get it in the downloads section for people to enjoy.  Great job.

Yes, I like to play centaur under VP9 and I hope, 32assassin can send me a link to his vpx-version. :bye2: :love39: :otvclap:

We got the Centaur Bally VPX Beta, this version is not working with the most recent release of VPX 10.2 (and 10.1). There are two balls instead of one, so it's unplayable.

Does anyone have a fix for this? We can upload the table if necessary. Thanks in advance!

It works fine in 10.2 beta, it just needs a fix for the captive ball, which causes the problem you mention.

Along the lines of feedback for Centaur beta, I did notice that it looks like the top rollovers light the wrong light for the rollover lanes.

This table looks so great.  I play it all the time, even as a beta table.

I like Centaur very much, is the VPX (beta) still around here for download?
