Hey Guys
The Table has been updated to Version 1.3
I have added a new nice Modding Clock.
Also I added a new Backdrop with my new Railset. The Rails have the right dimensions for Widebody Tables now.
The Main Fix is the Gameplay. I adjusted the Physics, for better reaching the Gumball, and the Lock.
Hope you like the changes.

Category: VPinMAME 9.x Recreations
Author(s): Megapin
Description:
Bally - Twilight Zone 1993
Megapin presents

Groni can you make a 1024 BD for this table if you have time? Thank you!

New Clock Image
Better Backdrop with new Rails.
Changes from 1.1> 1.2
Adjusted Physics
Piano Shot and Camera Shot is much easier now!
Targetsound a bit lower
Added a Maxball Speed
Added new Powerball ( First Ball in the Menu)
Changes from 1.0 > 1.1
Added new Clock Image
Adjusted CTRP
Fixed the Gumball Sound Delay
Fixed the Camera Delay. Ball kicks out during "Bumpers Added" Sound.
Fixed the "Dance" Problem in the Bumpers
Bumper Flasher will be fixed in a later Version.
The Plastic Bumper Flasher is working, which is parralel to the Bumper Flasher.
Features:
Full Mechanics like Clock and Gumball Machine
True Magnet on the Mini Playfield
New CTR Sound Engine
CTR Physics
7 Different Steel Ball Images
8 Different Powerball Images
Fullscreen Rulesheet ( Press "R" during Game. Hit Nudge / Space to Quit the Sheet )
Options Menu Features ( F6 during Game)
Select Language
Select Romset
Selcect Modding Features ( Only 3rd Magnet till Yet)
Select Ball Images
Select true or faked Magnet
And Many More
2 Things that made Problems:
I used Reels for the Bumpers to have a nice fade effect. This reels causing one Bug. The Flasher in the Playfield in the Middle of the Flashers do not show up correctly.
The Second Problem was the GI.
I leaved them away on that Version, cause there are
alot of Performance Issues. Maybe in one of the next Versions I will include it.
Big Thanks goes out to "The Dude" (Pacdude). He gave me Permission to use most Parts of his Script.
Without this Script, this table would not be possible.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
Thanks to JP for helping me with some sort of Problems.
Thanks to Scapino for his Playfield Images.
Now have Fun with your Twilight Zone!

I played this evening a lot of your fantastic Twilight version. This a absolute perfect table, the layout and the flippersettings are awesome.
My best score on your table:
Grand Champion:
AS 2.676.149.430
Lost In The Zone Champion:
AS 365.777.210
and i had 69 Hitchhiker in my Taxi
That's was a big fun.
Now it is time for Lord of the Rings
Groni, thank you very much for this amazing experience.

This fantastic recreation by Groni never seemed to grab me. Have tried it out lots of times
but the general thing: not so fun really
There was a feeling of lack of flow and some slowness overall.
The ball going through ramps a little strange. The feeling of the flippers
kind of stompy.
So.. I started to check out the settings and found out..
The gravity constant was set way to low (1.0) and to compensate for that
the slope was set way to high (11,5 11,5). After changing slope to 6,5 min 9,5 max
and the gravity constant up to 1,57 the table really started to come to life. Big difference.
I also gave the flippers JPs newest settings with some slight decrease in strengt
and with these 2 changes the table really started to TZ me, better flow
and went a lot more fun, at least for me
A matter of taste i guess, and with all respect to the author. Just my 2cents and experience.

After playing some real tables at the Toronto pinball show, I've started to experiment in a similar manner on my Fullscreen pinball PC. I start by upping the gravity constant to 1.667 and the flipper settings I start at are (from top to bottom)
spd: 0.18
str: 0.7
elas: 0.45
scatter: 0
ret.str: 0.25
rec.vel: 20
pwr.law: 1
obl.cor: 2
and I pretty much use the same slope as you did, but I check the difficulty setting to make sure it is around 0.6 and adjust accordingly.
Next I go around and adjust all of the places where the ball will come into contact with rubber and change the elasticity to 0.7 or 0.65 depending on the location. For top rollovers, I use 0.7 because I want the ball to bounce around alot to create some randomness in this area. Rubber on a real table does grab the ball and bounce it around alot. This aspect alone surprised me the most. Anyway, always make a back up of the original table before saving your modifications though!
Best Regards,
Todd.

A huge problem I seem to be having on this version of the TZ table is that during Powerball Mania, everytime I actually Defeat The Power it never ever triggers the Jackpot like it's supposed to. It just kicks the ball out of the Slot Machine without awarding points or the obnoxiously loud awesome Jackpot sound effect. It looks like you have three Camera Kicker holes under the mini playfield, and although they seem to work during Camera hits and normal Battle The Power hits, they NEVER work during Powerball Mania.

Helly guys,
having trouble running that table (same for lotr).
TZ doesnt´show up the backglass, just some stripes.
All other tables (except lotr) run normal.
If somebody has an idea or solution i would appreciate it very much.
thx !

Here's a suggestion. In the editor after you load the table select Preferences->Video Options in the menu bar. Two things there you can try:
1. Uncheck the HDRender box
2. Select Max Texture Size that is not Unlimited
Looking at your screenshot, your video card does not have at least 1 gig of memory on it, so you really can't use HDRender or Unlimited texture size.
When you click Preferences->Video options in the editor, look for the options I described which I circled in red in the accompanying screenshot:

After you make those changes, click OK, exit VP, restart VP, reload the table, then press play and see if it helps.

The information above is great. I had this exact same problem when I first started VP9
Turned out to be the max textures thing. Start with setting that to 1024.
If that does not work I also turned off the hardware rendering and ran VP. Afterwards I turned it right back on and everything was great.
Hardware rendering helps a lot if you can leave it on.
What video card are you using? That would help us a lot.

Still wonderung as i run a gefoce260 extreme (which has 1 gb as far as i remember...) which is good enough to run crysis2 in excellent graphics :-)
nevertheless, problem is gone and many, many thanks for this quick and effective help !
