OK i found the problem...

I downloaded the table again and run it from the desktop the lights are fine. Did a save as into the tables folder and now its working... its a funny pinball life

i missed those lights...

they are back ...

can't wait to see the funhouse version Mr JP

Well, just thought I'd let everyone know that I have fixed my "cannot create off screen surface" problem by simply rolling back my video drivers to the previous version I had installed (2004 video drivers). I forgot that I had recently updated my video drivers to the newest version for my video card (2008 video drivers) and shortly thereafter, most of the VP9 tables began giving me the error stated above. I am happy to state that I can now play ALL of JP's and Groni's VP9 tables without any problem with Hardware Graphic Rendering enabled and without changing any settings. To everyone that is saying you need a video card with alot of memory to run VP9 tables with Hardware Graphic Rendering enabled, why is it that I can run these tables with no problem with an old Geforce FX 5200 128mb graphics card and of course outdated video drivers? Not that I'm complaining, just wondering. MIKE

Well...it might be a problem of reduced support for VP...these kind of problems made me think that it would be better if VP was only a commercial stand alone software...but again, we can't have it all, especially with such complex conditions around a software (Unfortunately i don't see any cure for this in a 9.0.3 update...i think the current developer stated that they will only support FP in the future) Sometimes i really wish i could pay someone to buy a proper fully supported VP without bugs like these.

Personally, i don't play other computer games, and i'm considering of buying a new graphics card specifically for running VP "flawlessly", but how "flawlessly" you can run a program like this without standard support? I really don't know what i will do when i will have purchased a new 100-150 euros card for VP, and it starts doing its "crazy rendering etc.. " problems again.

Thanks TuNk77! Is the 1GB option necessary? I can't find the specific model fanless in my country and i really don't want another fan... i found the same chip with 512MB fanless..will it work?

1GB is not a must, but recommended I think the 512MB version is cheaper too. You can also take a look at GeForce 9500GT 512MB too, it cost's a bit more, about 56 euro. With these cards you must have a 350W power supply or better.
If you want to get a more powerfull card, you can sniff at the GeForce GTS 250 512MB card, it costs about 108 euro. The GeForce GTS 250 512MB requires a power supply that has at least 500W.

I have 7900GT (256MB) in my desktop computer, and every table works with it fine in VP9 (HR enabled).
(On my Notebook is complicated, some of them work with HR, and some of them work without HR.)
I think a 256 megs card more than enough, if you don't want to use split screen(16:9) tables.

When start table a have a message : requier WPC.vbs scrip version 3.6 or heigter .

I install the last version of vbs script from this site (3.30).

Put the message is allredy her ?

I guess you have a copy of the scrips in your tables folder too, and VP is loading it first.
The best thing is to unpack the scrips in the Scripts folder and into the tables folder, just to be sure.

If you navigate to http://downloads.guru3d.com/ you can find very old drivers. I found an GPU driver from 2001 that I needed on guru3d
