great,

along with the remove of the dmd in the backglass, it could be great to have a backglass fullscreen also, without a view of the fake cabinet and the arcade room behind.

Keep up the great work

So how do you developers feel about the future now when you have released the first alfpa and got some feedback.

The included VPinMAME.dll does not get along with VPinball in a cabinet. DMDs are suddenly displaced with VPinball. Can you make a version for cabinets of the dll?

Are you using the one from the post:

"if you put "rev 3497 vpinmame.dll"  into google, it is the first result"

Hi guys. "Long time" since a small update here so here is just a pic illustrating current dev. It is for cab users: The rendering mode has been rewritten using "asymetric frustrum" (Thanks to ravarcarde for his help on this!). Thi savoid render to texture and improve quality AND FPS. Here is the comparative: left is pre alpha and on the right is pre-alpha2 (click for full view and pay attention on borders, specially on top of the playfield):

EDIT: Thanks to ravarcarde for his help on this!

This and more improvments/bug correction/editor functionnalities in pre-alpha 2 soon!

Thanks a lot Bilbox!

A quick question: will the screen sizes be kept in the settings when the application is closed?

Cheers!

Yes, it will... (was kinda doing it already in pre-alpha though... need to click on "calibrate cab" again to save...)

I just read through most of this post and it sounds exciting..  I'm getting ready to start buying TV's to start my cab build. Would a 3d TV make a difference in this project?

No pressure or anything.

Is there any ETA for the alpha 2?
