Hi Android,

Got a similar problem with the VP version I was using (Rev 428). Would be worth trying with the latest official release.

I have tried all versions of VP9.14...VP9.13, etc it happens in versions 1.0.1, 1.0.2, 1.0.3 & 1.0.4 FS or 4 x 3,,,Landers versions loses the white background but still appears above the slingshots  I will post, some pictures, but not sure what the difference is, since I dont build tables is there some pictures I am supposed to swap with , as I us an ATI radeon card and JP normally has Nvidia as his setup while building.Landers version is the 4x3 posted and JPs is the FS

heres what JP's table looks like with FS and it looks the same with 4 x 3,  is it reels or something done differently?  Any help would be appreciated, Attached File  BSD image square.jpg   186.13KB   17 downloads

ATI Radeon HD 4-series card are known to cause all sorts of rendering issues. I had problems with a 4670 that couldn't be resolved with driver updates or setting changes. Your best bet would be to swap the card out to a 5-series Radeon card if you want to keep the driver, or switch to NVIDIA.

Yeah, Im gonna wait to get a gaming rig first, cant buy a silk purse for a pig.  What I did find, which I missed the first time and what I never do, is I tried messing with the table layout.  JPs description of the slingshot pictures as decoration only, so I unchecked visible on the two pictures listed  as .....left sling decor/ramp 403 and right sling decor/ramp 398. and saved the table and they disappeared.  It makes the slings look drab and exactly like the playfield in front, but at least I can see the ball and it dont disappear.

I just got one more question, does dracula supposed to be visible at the start of the game or does the coffin top disappear during drac mutiball.  I havent tested it so far at the drac cover seems to be really black, like no image.

Thanks for your suggestion though htamas.......Nvidia is the way to go once I buy a barebones kit, probably when I figure out my taxes and how much Uncle Sam wants.

Hey Android, there is a MOD that I did of this table that has 8 level lighting and lot's of alpha flasher eye candy.  Give that a try as the glitch might not happen as there are other lighting refreshes going on undreneath and multiple sling plastic lighting images as well as most pf and plastic images / objects were overhauled.  However, those custom sling covers were not changed and that nuance does look like a more ATI vs. Nvidia issue from the posts I've seen here.  The centre top glitch would be gone though as in my GI8 mod I took it out as it wasn't on the real machine and blocked the nice bumper multi-level fadding.

Here's the link:

It's also got a flipper and BMPR physics MOD and the demo video can be found here:
