Yep. The devs know. ;)

Actually Im really hoping for ximput force feedback. Built a PinSim with larger motors and it works awesome with Pinball FX2 VR and pinball FX3. Everything works with VPX VR besides my dual contact leaf switches (dont think VP supports them?) and the force feedback.

Even without these two things, VPX VR is awesome and I really hope it will continue to be developed.

Same... Thanks to you guys for everything you do..

VP Pinball is my main driver for building up a new VR setup.. Still in process of deciding on Valve Index or Oculus Quest since they just announced major improvements (Hand tracking and tethering to PC using Type-C in near future)

This is because you are trying to use 64 bit with a 32 bit Vpinmame or Vice versa.  Stick with 32 bit for VPM AND VPVR and you will not get those controller errors.  You may need to uninstall VPM and reinstall the correct architecture.  Have fun!

ok guys,i just read through 50 odd pages of this after hearing about it earlier today.

Ran into problems all night so would appreciate any help.

I have a VALVE INDEX with a GTX 1070,I7 6700k 16 gb ram.

I have a few tables running fine in desktop mode so it looks like VP works, however when i downloaded the latest version of VPVR and setup, the table looks as if its about to load the i get loads of "CONTROLLER" Script Errors, table doesnt load in VR due to this.

Having the same table work in desktop mode but not in VR is confusing me.

So I'm having issues with DMDs in general.  I used to be able to display DMDs intermittently in VR and now none of them show up ever except for the TAF VR Room table.  I have attempted to copy the flasher 1 in this TAF table but when I paste to another table nothing happens.  I'm sure I am missing something stupid but has anyone else come up with a solution for this?  Thanks in advance!

Try copying the DMD from Addams family to a table that would support it. Try AC/DC, T2, attack from mars, Star Trek The Next Generation, ghostbusters or World Cup soccer since those should all work for you. It wont work for older tables like whirlwind, funhouse, or black knight 2000, hurricane, Cyclone etc for example.

Also there is a VR Room version of AC/DC you can download that has a working DMD

Thanks gear!  I tried copying the flasher and I get a DMD but there are actually 2 of them and I have to get them perfectly aligned in order to remove the second DMD.  Is there a way to hide the second DMD?  Thanks!

Go to your backglass in the editor and make sure that you don't have a textbox on it somewhere. If so just delete it.

Looks cool.. when done, run all sounds through a environment echo processor for best effect ;-)

It's a shame when submerged and then the sound doesn't match near the environment.

Does anyone know if the VPVR devs are still working on updates? It's been months since anything new. Not being pushy just curious

I'm still working on it from time to time and I have some ideas for the backglass, but at the moment I don't have much free time for coding. So don't expect something in the next weeks, but until end of the year the backglass is hopefully working.

Thank you
What about psvr? I've seen a program or system that lets the headset work with a pc but not the controllers.

That I would have no idea but if I had to guess I would say no it wouldn't work. There is one person I know that would have the answer. I'll get back to you.

If you can get PSVR to work with SteamVR then it would work, I think there are several programs/drivers for that (like Trinus).

Okay, I need to ask since I can't seem to find a clear answer anywhere. How on earth do I get the displays to show? Most games I can't see one. There are some exceptions like Addams Family and Space Station. I've tried copying the Addams Family DMD to Whitewater but that didn't do anything, I'm guessing because there's nothing in the script to hook the DMD to Pinmame.

Surely there's a simple solution to this I'm missing? Because as amazing as this is, it's basically useless if you can't see the display on most games...

If you read through the posts here on this thread like 20 pages back there is some instructions that may help you. Tables from around 1990 or newer you should be able to get a working DMD on without too much effort. Older than that you can get working if you use the new external DMD capture feature. For me that external DMD capture kills my game performance so I dont use it.

Keep in mind that while VPX VR is amazing, there is still more work to be done to get everything working perfectly and that is both on the parts of the table authors and the developer(s) of VPX VR.

There are also other programs that you can use to capture the external DMD that is on your desktop and inject it into VR.

Thanks! After reading through some of those posts and messing around a bit more I realized I was using the wrong version of VP. I upgraded to the latest version and managed to get the DMD to show on Whitewater with the B2S backglass by setting DesktopVPXDMD to true and right clicking the exisiting DMD display box in the backglass editor and clicking "Draw in front."
