I just passed the ID4 Fullscreen back to Nealtron with some scripting tweaks so as soon as he's done testing it shouldn't be much longer folks! biggrin.gif

thanks for the update, looking forward to this. The desktop release is probably within my top 5 table releases of the year.

Really good under-rated table smile.gif

After learning some things from the new tables I've been building I decided to update Independence Day for better appearance and gamplay.
THIS VERSION PLAYS FASTER THAN THE PREVIOUS VERSIONS, SO SOME OF YOU MAY PREFER THE (SLOWER) PREVIOUS RELEASES

Changes in UPDATE 1.3:

*Added wire ramp borders/ shadows
*Flashers now controlled by fading lamps
*Made more ramps surfaces transparent
*Eliminated visible artifacts from bumper area
*Darker backdrop image
*Improved ramp performance for faster ball travel
*Darker transparent ramp texture
*Increased flipper physics/ power
*Animated targets when hit
*Changed bumper force
*Numerous changes to field physics

-Hope you enjoy it. An update to the FS version will be released shortly...

Just played a few games and yea, I'm not a fan of the super flippers, everything is real easy to shoot for now and its going to be almost impossible to trigger the July2-5th event with the ball being able to go so fast up that left ramp.

I love this table and I think its one of the best vp releases. smile.gif

You're right- the "super" flippers were a little bit ridiculous. I think I had too much coffee when I was working on them.
I dialed-them back in a quick update v1.3.1, they're still faster than the previous versions but feel more natural.
Thanks for the positive feedback

No problem, it is a great table and one of the few that i can play over and over for a long time without switching to another table smile.gif

it took me forever to get a 1st place highscore now i'll have to do it again with the new physics smile.gif

A very small issue i had while playing 1.3.1 Nealtron. I shot the ball up the left ramp just hard enough to where it couldn't make it around the bend at the top. It started to roll back down and came to a complete stop on the ramp as seen on the picture. Its not completely stuck though, I then tryed to nudge the ball back down the ramp to collect the july2-5th sequence but it hit some sort of "edge" on the ramp and actually went the other way

Im getting a 'Line 23' script error when loading table

AlienT.isdropped = 1

any ideas?

How did you fix this? I'm getting the same error and don't know what to do.
I'm using VPinball 9.11, PinMAME 2.3 and Tableversion 1.31 with Win7 64bit
Also tried every ROM I could find, including all mentioned in this thread. I'm totally lost sad.gif

Script error line 75:
You need to have the B2Bcollision.vbs file in the same folder as the table. This creates the ball collision sound during multiball and many tables use it.

There should be no reason for line 23 to give you an error. Do you have the newest version of this table? (1.3.1)

Billyrjse- I have no idea why the lights look like that on your table. The whole playfield looks very blurry in your screenshot, so I think it has something to do with your graphics card or your render settings. Is HD render checked? Did previous versions give you these visual anomolies?
