Thanks for updating this POWERFUL table once more. Just got nearly 4 kills of conselors and finally 143 millions of points.

One little issue i´ve noticed; if the ball drains and you will tilt the table just in this moment, the table script is miscounting remaining balls.

It´s not really hard to reproduce.

Sometimes, i think, the super skill shot isn´t counted; maybe a capacitor missing in the switch?  :shutup1:

So. Back on cab ... nice weekend to all.

I can reproduce that tilt error while draining, during the bonus count. The script got really confused and it kicked out 2 balls instead of one. But it won't be easy to fix. Ans so long the only thing I can say is "don't do that" :D

I have removed the super skillshot trigger and I'll use the gate instead. I know that a slow ball will not trigger the gate, but since it is only used for the super skillshot then the ball will have some speed so I guess it will be better this way.

I'll see if I can fix that tilt error :)

UPDATE

1.05 Updated 15.01.2022
- Added a new sign post with the Haddonfield :)
- Adjusted the super skillshot to be more reliable.
- Fixed the tilt during the bonus count, which confused the table.

Someone asked for a new sign, so here it is, including directions for Haddonfield :)
I opted to use the gate for the super skill shot. It is reliable enough, at least better than a small trigger :)
And the tilt after a drain was a problem since I couldn't stop a Sub that was already running (like the bonus count), the problem was that the bonus count called for the end of ball routines to continue creating a new ball, and the tilt routines did the same, that's why I ended up with two balls. Since the problem was the tilt during the bonus count I opted to do not tilt the table during the bonus count, problem solved :)

BTW JP, I like how you cycle through the DMD messages after the game is over and flash the Rom version number. Adds a quick sanity check which version of your table I am running in my PinCab, Excellent and fun table has a great pace to it.

Thank you for updating ... :love39:

Edit:  ... well balanced DOF effects update. Magnet holding ball gets shaker effects and so on. PERFECT.

Btw. i´m not sure the super skillshot switch version was better before the gate version. Maybe ... it needs some fine tuning because sometime you will get the skillshot if the ball is in this area only.

Tap pass:No, but flick pass may work, it all depends of your keyboard or switches and your skill. Although most of the time you'll hit the ball with too strong force.

In VPX I use nudging to do a Tap pass :)

Nice work JP

Thank you for all the cool table releases. I have been downloading and playing them all.

Back in the day at VP Originals and Shiva site, I made some crazy and fun VP tables. I notice that a lot of the table themes I used for my old VP tables have been used again in new table releases. That's pretty cool, but just remember guys that I made it in VP first. :)

Keep up the great work JP,. VP is still a lot of fun.for me. Later

I can't appreciate enough how much fun and genius this table offers. The rules and the theme are just perfect.

Yes, I remember you from the old days. I didn't visit much VP Originals, as I dedicated my time to ROM based tables :) It was so fun to discover all the tables that I have missed, and I wanted to make in VP most of them :)

VPX gives me now better tools to make tables, and my scripting has been much better than what it was15 or 17 years ago :), so now I can make original tables too :)

I can't appreciate enough how much fun and genius this table offers. The rules and the theme are just perfect.

I'm glad you like the table :)

Is it possible to do flipper tricks like tap pass or flick pass?

Tap passes are not possible to do with my flipper settings, I should need to change a lot the script to enable those tap passes. But in VP you can use the nudge keys to make flipper tap passes :) It is not the same but it works.

I'm changing and testing my flipper physics just now, and for now I have gone back to a normal ball mass of 1 and a flipper strength of about 3600, and I'm testing if I can make some more tricks :)

After months of trying to get my cab back in order after a motherboard crash, I was finally able to give this one a go last night.  Man this table is HARD! There are times where the ball is just FLYING around the table and I can't react quick enough.  I ended up playing for about an hour.  I love the idea of killing the counselors (I never was able to kill even one lol) but I like to think that when the shot moves, its representing the consoler running from Jason, and you (being Jason) is hunting them down.  Can't wait to get some more time on this table!   Great release!

UPDATE

4.0.0 Updated 29.8.2022
- fixed bug: Eric was not possible to kill
- adjusted light inserts (darker when off and brighter when on)
- Updated to my VPX7 physics
- Added my VPX7 LUT changer to darker the table (hold down LEFT CTRL while change with RIGHT CTRL). Including GI brightness adjustment. Use the LUT changer together with the day/night slider to give the table the level of darkness you prefer.
- Updated my mechanical set of sounds to a more "under the glass" sound, as people seem to like those kind of sounds better.
- Changed the Environment image to enhance a little the object shadows.

mu_main4.ogg & mu_main5.ogg are missing from the table resulting in a lack of background music during the 4th and 5th ball when the table is set to 5 balls per game.

Thanks for the info. I never changed to 5 balls, so I didn't catch that error. I remember I had to change those routines on another table :) Anyway, you can always export the two songs you prefer, rename them and import them back, I'll fix that in the next revision, but I won't make a new revision just for that.

Is there any way to turn off the male voice?

Why? That's Steve Richie :D Anyway the only way tro turn it off is by deleting the voices in the Sound Manager.
