 She is an angel, well, a Viking angel :)

LOL!, Well let us hope not, if she is a Valkyrie, she will see you killed in battle and then drug off to Valhalla
and i hear that Odin does not share pinball tables, he keeps them all to himself.

She couldn’t kill you, you’ll be living the life of luxury from jp’s money. Traveling to all the exotic destinations that jp couldn’t make it to because of his sudden disappearance.

More information about the behavior of the table:

1). I have seen that the variable "xTargetCount" sometimes got a value less than 0. From then on the score worked bad. I think the problem comes from the "PFXTimerExpired" timer, so I tried on line 2668 of the script after xTargetCount = 0, write PFXTimerExpired.Enabled = 0, and this problem seems solved. Now everything works fine, the score, the top three targets that control the PlayfieldMultiplier and also the multiball.

2).Everything works ok. but with only one player. If there are more players in the game, the problem with the multiball continues. Sometimes instead of 3 simultaneous balls there are 2 or 4 balls in the playfield, and it passes to the next player before the last ball has been lost.

I think it may be due to some timer that is still active when it shouldn't be, but I don't know what it might be.

Also the highscore detection system works ok. but when there is only one player. When several players sometimes do not detect it and other times it doubles the same highscore for two players.
Meanwhile I continue to enjoy this amazing table, but only with one player. :otvclap:

I see you are still using version 1.01, since you name the line 2668 being xTargetCount = 0. And in version 1.02 I fixed that problem with the timers not stopping at the end of the ball, including the PFXTimerExpired.Enabled, and that variable xTargetCount being 0 and negative, resulting is the wrong scoring.

Please try version 1.03 and see if the errors are still there.

Certainly the version I have is not 1.03. :tapping:  I do not understand what could happen since I always under the tables through the green "download" link, and now that I have done it again, I see that the only version there is is 1.03. I am sorry for the setback it may have caused you, but it is clear that I am not an absolute expert on these issues :wimper: . I will continue playing like crazy at this great table, now with several players, to be sure that everything works ok. and any problem that could detect I inform you. Thank you very much again for your help and effort !!. :love39:

No problem :) Even if I have worked with computers 40 years, I'm not a programmer, so I use to forget to reset things from time to time :) And it is always good to get feedback of things that can be fixed :)

I'm sure I couldn't be able to get that game to play as good as it does in its original format. The pro pinball series were very good in all aspects, graphics, sounds, rules and gameplay. So my version would simply be a poor man's copy.

As the original designer of 3D Pinball (Space Cadet) and the various tables we later built at Cinemtronics / Maxis back in the 90s, I absolutely love seeing this sort of thing.  I don't think any of us who worked on the game ever expected people to be playing it (or creating variants, as the case may be), 25 years later.   Awesome!

Hi Folks, I'm kind of new to table scripting. I can read most scripting until i get into nested loops, matricies, sub routine jumping or multi-dimensional arrays; so I'd like to know what GiOn and GiOff are doing in table scripts and I don't mind if you tell me to RTFM if I know were I can find the Manual or related YouTube instructions. Can someone point me to a good study guide for GiOnOff please would appreciate, thanks all? I'm using JP's Space Cadet as a study guide for the best representation of all the modernization of his coding approach; one of his last best hura's before his extended vacation until he decides how much he may miss all of us.

Sub GiOn
    PlaySoundAt "fx_GiOn", li036 'about the center of the table
    DOF 118, DOFOn
    Dim bulb
    For each bulb in aGiLights
        bulb.State = 1
    Next
End Sub

Sub GiOff
    PlaySoundAt "fx_GiOff", li036 'about the center of the table
    DOF 118, DOFOff
    Dim bulb
    For each bulb in aGiLights
        bulb.State = 0
    Next
End Sub

Kevin awesome and thanks ... I always loved that game and it bridged the gap keeping my interest in computerized pinball always in the back of my mind. It is really cool to simply say thanks and we all appreciated what you did with the game !!

You sir are a legend, and its gotta be pretty awesome for you to get to play space cadet in VPX, JPsalas doesn't give himself enough credit, I work with real pinball machines full time and i found myself at the arcade i work in playing space cadet while sitting amongst 24 physical machines the other day it was kinda comedic,  that just goes to show the quality of what you guys produce, both the original and vpx versions alike.  Good stuff thank you for your contributions to my lifelong pinball addiction.
