At the risk of asking the stupid question...

Is that 3D model going to become the VPX table itself?

It is already. But I made a lot of improvements and changes I have to integrate in the nextversion. Will take a while...

Great detail ClarkKent. Are you planning on doing the prerendered textures for VPX or just the standard way?

This is not fully clear at the moment. I like it the way it is, maybe the plastic ramps.

Great work, looking forward to release.

Own 2 real tables at the moment and would love a Big Bang Bar, if was not for the fact I need a mortgage to pay for it.

I would imagine it'd look amazing in VR.

Can't convince Knorr!? ;)

Had a good play of the latest release last night. The physics feel great! Great work CK, thanks for work on it and everything you do.

Wow. Clark, this is going to be one hell of an update. Good thing. BBB will be quite ready for VPE if that comes around. Very nice indeed mate !

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

It took almost a month to add all holes in a way that it could be used on a real playfield...

So, i can take your table
Print out the patterns, and i guess 3d print the models, and get the playfield and plastic textures printed on appropriate media
go cut out and route all the wood etc.

Scrounge or make the rest of the pinball hardware

And get really good at hand painting some of the models.

Then i have a real BBB.

Now the question is
How do i get VpinMAME to run it as i cant exactly cobble up a real BBB controller :)

Actually the 1st question is probably who do i rob to afford it.

If one came up with a JAMMA type of connector, and was that energetic, i imagine one could make a table with quick change playfields
Plug playfield into harness, lock it into the cabinet, drop the balls in and load a different ROM

Dont imagine you would have 100 playfields hanging on the wall though.
Get a bit cramped.

My construction can be used as a reference. And yes my textures are that high res that you can use them for the real machine. But be aware that I did not (yet;) construct the mechanical parts underneath the playfield and in the backbox...

Apologies for bringing back an older thread, but I'm just now finding this version of BBB.

AMAZING work.

Thank you for this terrific table and MOD.

Toxie helped to create a new 3d-model of the aliens from a photo series. Very nice but there is room for improvement if somebody can help...
