For anyone checking here, THIS TABLE IS FINE TO DOWNLOAD AND IS NOT BROKEN. Anybody know why this site allows FAKE BROKEN messages to appear on a table listing and no way to inform them it's total bullshit? Brain damage somewhere at the top...

Hey all,

 

Well, not sure if I got the right ROM. I downloaded it from VPUniverse, stargat5.zip. I ran the table, all I see is Stargate (Install 4 balls)... Checksum... Then the DMD changes to SWITCH SHORT and alternates between RETURN 5 and RETURN 6. I press just about all of my keys and nothing works. Just sometimes I can hear the coins being inserted, but the game doesn't start. Other times, no keys work.

I also downloaded the stargatp5.zip file and deleted the p.... Same thing happens.

Hi,

 

You can find the name of the table's ROM in the script, and it's supposed to be "stargat4"

 

 

Try to delete the nvram file in VPinMAME -> nvram

That rom can be a bit picky on the nvram. I'm quite sure that they released nvram's with the last table update over at VPU ?

In the file, you'll find all nvram file to initialise ROM, with default setup like real.

Here too there are the nvram's included with the table,

 

I managed to initialize the table, but I didn't understand exactly how I did it, it's the combination of the flipper keys and the 7 key,

 

on another alphanumeric table (SNS) I know that I have to hold down the left flipper key and then press the 7 key, press the 1 key twice, and F3.
