Yes, I used webp images, and I used the compression at 95% just to do not create too many artifacts, and you can't see the difference from the original PNG images :) And the playfield and plastics are in 4k size :)

I thought the table could use a better backdrop for the desktop version, so I made this using 2 drawings of John Black :)

In the zip file you'll find a full resolution of the image in PNG format and in WEBP format, so you can see the difference in size :)

Just ot let you know the DOF for the LE rom used for this table is now available, it needed his own config as the solenoids assignment is slightly different than the pro, enjoy ;)

I totally missed that release, there is no Avengers LE entry in the configtool, like all the Stern PRO and LE tables, there needs 2 different entries in the confgtool, there is always a slight difference between the PRO and the LE in terms of solenoid or switches.

I will check it next ;)

UPDATE!

1.0.1 Updated 27.12.2019
- Fixed the possibility of the ball getting stuck at the top of the flippers.
- changed the DMD in the desktop view to use a flasher, which can be easily moved or made transparent like a hologram.

I don't know if many you desktop users prefer to have the DMD at the center on top of the table. like this:

attachicon.gif JPs Avengers LE (Stern - 2012)1.0.1_centered DMD.jpg

To move the DMD there and make it like a hologram you need to do:

- move the DMD flasher object to the center position

- scale it to about 0,8

- change the modulate of the flasher from 1 to 0,9

Where do I find those settings? I searched the script for dmd flasher object, but nothing was found.

The flasher objects are not in the script. They are visible in the editor, at the left side.

Now that I see the table in one of the latest revisions I exchanged the flasher object working as the DMD for the desktop version (so the full screen mode will show the DMD) to a textbox on the desktop. The reason is because it is easier to moved and it is always a rectangle. Flasher objects needs sometimes to change the view angle so they look like a rectangle and not like a trapezoid :)

So maybe someone can help me.

I am having issue with the rom. I download and zip it and put it in the right folder but I keep getting the message that it is not there during the boot up of the table.

Thoughts?

Thoughts?

You named the bin file  - avs_170h.bin
And then the Zip file - avs_170h.zip

As far as I know I did. I even did an instance where i did not rename the file and only named the zip. still did not seem to work.

EDIT: I can check around lunchtime at what I did. Currently at work at a summer camp.

I checked my zip file and the file inside.

They are indeed avs_170h.zip and the avs_170h.bin is in the zipped folder.

So I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

If the error you get is "Game not found" then it means your vpinmame is old. Download the latest here, version 34, Visual PinMAME (Standalone DLL) - VPForums.org

I know there are newer beta versions, but this one should work fine.

So I believe I did this as well, but I will try again.

I did do that. I just tried again. still getting the thing saying the rom is missing. I can try and post images of what I did later tonight when I am home.

Regardless thanks for all the support :)
