FYI enabling the reflect dynamic elements fixed the ‘fire’ and ‘power’ insert lights only showing half

Have to wait until this afternoon to try. But, whatever the outcome. Nice find.

Update : g5k - you are spot on. I've disabled that feature since I'm on 4k and from time to time can get stutter for a short time - even with a 1080.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Brer Frog-

Great, it won't effect FS mode at all. No this isn't a new feature in VP it's just something I added. A primitive.

As far as adding monitors, DMD stuff I'm not much help sorry. I don't have a Virtual Pin machine I'm just on a desktop.

You could try sending Slydog43 a message if you run into a problem. He's the expert with that stuff.

Thanks -

I sent Slydog43 a message.

I can hide the DMD, but I’m curious & perplexed why it cannot be decreased in size & why it keeps getting reset. I'm guessing the ROM is overwriting the registry every time it's run.

I enabled the "reflect elements on playfield" check box and the inserts do indeed fully light up for me now. Thanks!

That was the way I intended the table to be. ScSp should be left "On". Unless you physically turn them off this should have been in the correct state..

Also In-game AO should be left "Off"

All of this is in the table description and in the script.

If you are missing the reflections on the upper metal wall (the triangle reflect), here is a solution from g5k:
"It seems that alternate vertex processing is the culprit... (needed for amd card on some games). Disabling that fixes it and allows it to work properly."

Hi 3rd Axis. I had read your directions and tried to follow them regarding ScSp and AO. However, I didn't realize that disabling the "reflect elements on playfield" checkbox would violate your recommendations regarding ScSp and AO. Sometimes for a layman like me it is hard to understand exactly what different settings do and that they may interfere with each other..

you didn't miss anything, he said nothing about the reflect dynamic elements on playfield setting, and the issue with the lights not working is a VP bug, not to do with his table in particular (although this is where it was found so...)

3rdaxis, the reflect dynamic elements is different to ScSp. It’s located right next to it in the vpx options. I think it was only added in the last 6 months or so.

g5k-

This must be something new, I don't have that option in the beta version I'm running.

I bet this is a stupid question, but anyway. Is it on purpose that Letter E of the FIRE inserts is rotated a few degrees?

And thanks for another update!

Yes it is:) G5K procured the playfield image based on one that was a bit "routed" and worn out to give it a more realistic look. I was instantly in love with the idea.

Thanks brother, appreciate the kind words. Anything above 500,000 is a good score. My top score to date is 1,600,000 but I've been playing this game for decades;)

Joey, where do you find this setting?

I don't use AMD, so I can't tell you.
