I will make sure Steelers are bumped up in the next table to work on list!!

 

When I am done with all 32 teams, I want to go back through them all and add Classic logos plastics and such.

So for the Rams table for instance, I will add the St. Louis Rams Plastics, and such.

I was just in a hurry to get at least the Bengals and Rams tables completed before the Superbowl!!

The tables I uploaded this time, have a matching Pup Pack made by hawkeyez88 made for them.

(Why I chose to do these teams first. Except Seahawks, which does not have a Pup Pack, but is MY favorite team.)

 

I also want to make special Superbowl versions for the teams who have won a Superbowl.!!

But that is in the future.

 

Thanks for making those Backglasses!! I will be remaking the backglasses with the Fathead football character for all teams, as I was just a beginner back then.

And I'm glad that you'll have backglasses to go with all your tables. I've had fun making the helmet versions, but I very much doubt that I'll get around to all the teams. It's quite a bit of work just to do that - I can't imagine how long it's taking you to upgrade all the tables!

Alot of people don't realize just how much work goes into these tables and backglasses!!(And other items others make!)

These NFL mods are actually a culmination of many of the table authors working together, but at different times.

Sliderpoint made the first WIP table. (Huge thanks Sliderpoint!!)

ScottyVH redid all lettering on playfield insert lights, and shaped them I do believe.(Huge thanks ScottyVH!!)

Toxie and Fuzzel updated the core.vbs to allow for 32 nvram team capacity back in 2017!! (Huge thanks Toxie and Fuzzel!!)

Toxie updated a new core.vbs to allow for alias names to have a nvram. (Huge thanks Toxie!!)

Toxie updated VPinMAME to fix an altsound issue where half the sounds were not playing.

The PinMAME code didn't handle a special case of the whitestar sound command lists yet, so he fixed it!! (Thanks again Toxie!!)

Carnypriest added updated Score and Instruction Cards in SWF format. (Huge thanks Carnypriest!!)

I learned how to do the music script commands from gtxjoe. (Huge thanks gtxjoe!!)

I learned how to do the color dmd commands from Carnypriest and STAT. (Huge thanks STAT and Carnypriest!!)

STAT is the one who added script to change the plastics to TEAM plastics. (Again thank you my friend!!)

JPSalas for his Lut script to darken table. (Huge thanks JP!!!)

And I modified and combined STAT's Team Change script, with JP's Lut script, and this is how all the options are saved and loaded on next run of table!!

Fluppers 2.0 flashers on in table, (Huge thanks Flupper!!)

Then Kalavera3 makes a Striker Xtreme (Huge thanks Kalavera3!!) with 32assassin, and 32assassin sends me a new version based on his work with Kalavera3's Striker Xtreme.

He also sends me all of his resources!!

32assassin added new flashers, primitives, artwork, and totally redid the table script.

He also taught me how to use blender, and my first project was the goal post on the NFL table!!

HUGE THANKS 32assassin!!!

Then throw in Kiwi who taught me the rom option commands!! (Huge thanks Kiwi!!)

iDigStuff sent me the rom in altsound format!! (Huge thanks iDigStuff!!)

And last but not least, Steve "slydog43" sent me a graphics card so I could work on VPX tables!!

Without him, I would not be working on these tables!! (Huge thanks Steve!!)

 

I am adding Team Fight songs, anthems, touchdown songs, Touchdown calls from local radio announcers, to each and every Team table!!

Those items just don't grow on trees!! Alot of work hunting these down!! I try to make each team table as if that team was my own, so I try to make it the best!!

So the teams I don't like "Cough Cough 49ers", get treated like they are my Seahawks!! I look at each team now as one big family. And I know most of their fight songs by heart now!!! lol

 

I am sure I am forgetting someone, but I just wanted to show you how many community contributors have helped on these NFL mods or had a helping hand in it!! (I am sure there are many unseen helping hands that I am forgetting!!)

What a great community!!! Proud to be part of it, and to represent it!!

 

I may start remaking the fathead backglasses as I finish each team table. (Only reason I didn't, because I was trying to get the tables done before Superbowl!)

I was going to wait until all tables were completed, and still might go that route.

These updates Looks pretty intensive. Can’t wait till the Bills table comes out hopefully keep up the great work thanks for putting the time into updating these with all these new extensive callouts and sound and features.

Hey, has anyone else got an error message when playing JP's Attack and Revenge from Mars, after installing VPinMAME and core.vbs included in NFL table package?

Specifically the Buccaneers mod which uses same nvoffset as JP's table does. (Should have no bearing on his nvoffset command as different roms are being used.)

I am not seeing any errors, and JP's table runs fine for me.

But 1 person has got the error, so I want to see if anyone else has seen this error?

That way I can help fix the issue. But hard to help fix an issue that is not happening on my end.

Thanks for anyone telling me if they get this error on JP's table after installing Buccaneers table.

Please let me know if you are getting this error, or even if you don't get the error, so I will know if it is more than just one person getting this error.

So It has been brought to my attention that this new core.vbs I have included with table package is causing old tables that have the nvoffset command to not work and error when B2S is enabled.

Just try JP's Attack and Revenge from Mars table with B2S enabled in preferences..keys. and you will see the error.

I usually am DT POV person with the B2S disabled, so this is why I wasn't seeing this error.

Also starting team is not working if you are using a backglass with table.

 

There is a fix for this thanks to Allheart!!

So this is what is needed for these new tables to work properly, and the old tables will work properly also.

 

So I have included a new fixed core.vbs file that Allheart modified, and this one does not get copied to scripts folder!! It stays in same folder as NFL tables.

(You can put all of the NFL tables together in one folder)

You will need to keep all of these NFL tables in one folder, seperated from all your other tables, and you need to move the new fixed core.vbs to that same folder.

So this gets rid of old table errors when B2S is enabled, and the new table errors, and the new fixed core.vbs is used automatically instead of using the one in scripts folder.

 

If you previously downloaded table and overwrote old one in scripts folder, I suggest you download newest beta or the VPX7 StandAlone EXE that comes with the core.vbs you will use and copy that one back to scripts folder, and overwrite the one I previously included with table!!

I hate to say this, but I may be updating these again!!

Without any changes needed to core.vbs, and the NFL tables can be placed with your other tables.

So the same person who found this error when B2S is enabled, (It was absolutely amazing he ran into this error, as I don't think many tables have the nvoffset command in them. I know of JPs Attack and Revenge from Mars, and my old NFL mods. That is it, so it really was luck that he caught this error!)

He has suggested that I change the rom name right before the nvoffset command in table script, and right after that nvoffset command, change rom name back to alias name.

This seems to have worked, but I am testing vigorously to make sure there are no unintended consequences.

If this works, like it seems to be working now, there will be no need to include any core.vbs file, as the old one in scripts folder should work with this solution.

 

Testing the hell out of it right now!! If there are no problems, expect 1 more update to these 8 tables.

So I have completed 8 tables, and there are 24 teams left to do.

Out of these 24 teams, there are 3 Divisions that do not have a table update yet.

 

AFC East

AFC South

NFC North

 

So I am dividing up these 3 Divisions between the sites, and each of these Divisions will be Exclusively for that particular site.

 

AFC East teams can be found Exclusively at Pinball Nirvana!!

I just completed Bills table, so you can find that table there now.

 

NFC North teams will only be found Exclusively here on this site. (I think Paul is a Lions fan.)

 

AFC South teams will only be found at VPUniverse.

 

This way each site has 4 Exclusive team tables.

 

Adding touchdown calls to Bears right now, and that table will be complete and be the first NFC North installment here on this site.

Cowboys table has been released.

 

So I am halfway done with 16 of 32 team tables completed and available for download!!

 

I updated to version 4.3 for 2 reasons.

 

The options saved on one table were effecting other tables.

Now they are all seperated and won't interfere with other options saved on other tables.

 

I also have never been able to install the Pup player on my system, so I am unable to try the NFL pup packs out.

Well I recently asked the maker of these Pup Packs if his Pup Packs played their own music and he said yes.

Well when you shut off the soundmod in table script, it reverts back to the rom music and sounds.

He said he hadn't heard any complaints about it, but I figured I should add option in script to use the altsound soundfx, with no music, for Pup Pack users.

I tried to wait for day when nobody uploaded anything to update these NFL tables, but everyday there was a new upload, so figured what the hell just upload them when I uploaded Packers and Cowboys.

 

I am working on Jets now and this will complete the AFC East teams available only at Pinball Nirvana. Patriots, Bills, and Dolphins have already been uploaded there.

2 of the 4 AFC South teams are available only at VPUniverse. Jaguars, and Titans is completed.

2 of the 4 NFC North teams are available only here at VPForums.  Bears and Packers is completed.

 

I will work on completing these 3 divisions first, and then move on to the rest of the teams.

That is what makes us true fans. We are fans even with losing season.

As Waylon Jennings and Troy Aikman sang..."We love the good Dallas Cowboys, Hell we loved them when they were bad!!"

Hopefully you are still working on these. I really like all the detail and effort you put into this. I am currently rebuilding my nephews cabinet and he is a big sports fan so I am going to surprise him with all these in a playlist. I will be bringing it back to him in late May. Keep up the great work.
