Yeah, even what seems like it would be a clean hit on that ramp seems to brush the posts a bit and take the momentum out of the shot.  On the slingshots, with the threshold that low it grabs the ball on even the very light touches that, on a real table, would roll down to the flipper.  I think 5 is the number I see people use a lot for the threshold, but even 3 or 4 will allow the light ball touches to gently bounce down to the flipper instead of the slingshot grabbing them.

And thank YOU, Uncle Willy. I played your excellent BOP beta back in the VP10 table testing days. You're huge part of this BOP dev team, of course!

Can't wait for Bad Cats (and take your time, please). :)

I'm getting the following script error when I press the flipper button. I did just install 10.2 beta 2798. Does anyone know how to fix this? The table is beautiful, and I'm looking forward to playing.

Make sure you are using the latest scripts. I had this a week or two ago and the updated scripts fixed it.

Thanks for the reminder.  When I updated to 10.2, I forgot to dump the scripts into the \Tables\ folder instead of the \Scripts\ folder.  I"m all set now.

I'm always intrigued by this, as I only have them in the scripts folder and have no issues. The difference in our systems and how & why they act differently is puzzling to me?

Latest rev is up in post #1.

Countless visual enhancements.

  • PF lenses now darken when lights are off. Thanks Flupper  :)
  • Glass bulb textures improved.
  • Helmet lighting improved.
  • Eyes and mouth lighting improved.

I have been doing some script cleanup. Please report any breakages.

Hi wrd1972.  It appears that the file on dropbox is still beta2, even though the description in the first post says it should be beta3.  Thanks for this great table!

EDIT:  The dropbox link is working now, and I am able to play beta3.  Looks and plays perfect to me!
