@fuzzel How does one remove "grey dust" ? I'd really like to find a way to brighten the balls on many tables, but I just can't seem to figure out a good reliable method.

as Toxie said, it's the ambient color that was not set to pure black. If you convert a table from VP9 to VPX you have to change the lighting color otherwise you get wrong colors on the table.

That's it!   The new 1.3 fix the light problem I talk earlier.  The ramp and lamp are more integreted with the playfield. :otvclap:  :dblthumb:

I like the small effect for the canon and xwing.   Next step, which seem not to be the table by itself, it's the sound, could be a little more loud.  But this is a nice to have for me..

Bravo!

Toxie already updated VPM to increase the volume of such tables (mostly Sega tables afaik)

Yup, BSMT2000 emulation was yet again improved, up to the point where only contacting Brian Schmidt himself would help from there.  ;)

(as the firmware is really a piece of DSP-coding art in some of its regions)

EDIT: Here is the newest build: http://www.vpforums....ic=27063&page=1

I was trying to find something in the script to turn off the laser and X-Wing fire for a more authentic table... does anyone know how to do it?  Thanks.

For the green laser - look for laser1 and laser2 in the script. There is an option for true or false. set them both to false. And for the xwing fire look for Duese1 and Duese2 and change those to false also. I think there were two spots, for each, that had to be set to false. Im not at the cab so this is from memory.

Or commenting out the Lines:

' Laser1.visible = true
' Laser2.visible = true
...
' Duese1.visible = true
' Duese2.visible = true
