hit F1
make sure cabinet mode is checked
may also help to grab the pinmame display and move it around a little

Can you send me a demo of it so I can see how it works? Explain to me in the demo on how it works please. I'm too new to this.

Can I use my ball images?

Hi Flupper1,

first of all thank you for this gorgeous table.

I looked at the code and see an issue with the ball shadows which is the same in the ninuzzu's algorithm.

That is a sphere (the ball) shadow impinging on a plane (the table surface) creates always an ellipse not a circle as per the current algorithm (except when the light shines exactly above the ball of course), but I agree that this is not a real issue since during the game the approximation could be well tolerated.

This is more evident when the ball move at the sides of the table when the shadow detaches from the ball looking as the ball was floating in the air, instead of rolling on the table surface.

Since the case of a so tilted shadow is unrealistic by itself (the light source should came from very low over the table), I suggest you to reduce the shadow inclination to one third of the current, so that the shadow remains attached to the ball and the circular footprint on the table is more approximable to a circle.

That is:

Change line 1059

			BallShadowArray(b).X = BOT(b).X + (BOT(b).X - TableWidthX)/8 : BallShadowArray(b).Y = BOT(b).Y + 30 : BallShadowArray(b).Z = BOT(b).Z - 24

to

			BallShadowArray(b).X = BOT(b).X + (BOT(b).X - TableWidthX)/24 : BallShadowArray(b).Y = BOT(b).Y + 10 : BallShadowArray(b).Z = BOT(b).Z - 24

The result is much more realistic.

Have a great day.

Massimo

@Flupper1

the cab mode of the table seems good, the desktop mode though, something wrong there
the table kind of comes apart, things either missing or invisible

kind of hard ot explain so i will link a picture
but there is a plastic floating in the air, look up near upper lever flipper

There is some dark tinted object partially over the flippers

The ball shooter lane, well, it isnt there
but there is a really large metal thing sticking up through the apron

Parts of the apron are going invisible

And you can see the table sides kinda missing

The ball shoots off the apron

Pic explains better

you posted this, so i thought hmm maybe my desktop has screwed up, so i tired it on a couple of the laptops but got same thing.
But his original version looks fine.

And his new version looks totally fine in cabinet mode, is only when you un rotate it to desktop mode that it gets strange

I have never seen this before, only using F6 to start the table and then moving too close to the playfield has sort of a similar effect. At least you have changed the POV settings, look at the other screenshots for comparison. Maybe redownload the table and/or make sure you do not override the POV?

well, that is very strange, but yea, you can not change the POV in the desktop view
and all my tables automatically change POV.
strange, the previous version does not do this though, in the same POV

If you using the VPX 7 beta. Go to your camera play button and then hit 1 after it run. Next to your play button. See it will reset it back to default. Reset here after I mess it all up.

If you using the VPX 6.1 then I have no clue on what happen. lol

Is very weird, as the 1.1 version does not do that
