Hello,

I just discovered this great table.  How do I enable the colored dmd and the colors shown in the preview image?

Thanks

Jim

JP, please - what Colors do you use for this DMD ? Looks very nice at Download-Image ...

I use these colors:

A simple way: You can press F1 while running the table and set "Colorize DMD", then plug those numbers in the related section.

Also, DMD colorization via altcolor is available here. Follow the instructions, set "Colorize DMD", "Use external DMD" and uncheck "Show DMD" under the F1 options.

I am not sure this has anything to do with the table per se, but it seems to only be happening with this table, so I will ask here.

The backglass is taking a good 20 seconds to load/display.  I'm not sure why that would be.  Any ideas?

Prob not table related

Lot of different backglasses for this table. I would download a new one or try to figure out which one you have and post under it.

4.0.0 Updated 10.11.2022
- Updated to my VPX7 physics

- Some small script updates, like the Rolling sound, Fading Lights and PlaySoundAt routines.
- Added my latest VPX7 LUT changer to darken the table (hold down LEFT CTRL while change with RIGHT CTRL).
- cleaned up and deleted unused graphics & reduced the size of the table
- Changed the Environment image to enhance the metals and also a little the object shadows.

And it was time to update one of my favorite tables :)

I think, you use a BG with very high Resolution / MB ... try to use another one - or if you can do that, create/modify a directb2s for your own, and downsize the BG Image

UPDATE

5.0.0 Updated 01.07.2023
- Update for VPX8
- New spinning lamp routine based on Sliderpoint's tesserac code.
- Updated physics to my VPX7/8 Rev 3 .
- adjusted lights and flashers.
-removed old code like the fading lights and the realtime timer as the fading of the flashers is done by VPX8 itself now, and also the primitive animations.

And, Yes, this is for VPX8 only, as the table uses the new possibilities of VPX8 and it won't work fine in older VPX.

No problem. I update the tables now that I have a little time between my travels :) So at least some table will be ready for when VPX8 is released :) There may be more changes, but at least I have removed a lot of old code :)

UPDATED (VPX7 version)

4.3 Updated 1.11.2023
- Updated physics to my Rev3. Including physics materials, flippers and slingshot shapes.
- Updated LUT images, 10 shades and 10 warmer shades.
- Updated to my latest set of mechanical sounds.
- Fixed a little the flashers.

This is an update of the v4 table for all of you who asked for a VPX7 update of this table :)

And this is the last of the V4.3 updates. All these updates were done mostly to get the flipper code by JLouLouLou to all the tables which could use a better control over the ball (mostly on modern/faster tables). If you miss this update to any of my tables, then just ask me and I'll update it. The rest of the tables had already very nice physics, and the only important change from the older VPX physic to this Rev3 is the JLouLouLou flipper code. The other tables will not be updated as I feel there is almost no difference in the gameplay. But again, is you miss this update on some other tables, then just ask :)

Hahaha, I'll do that now :D I have a few EM tables to make too and the original Arkanoid, but I guess I'll do those next year, as Magic Girl will take some time :)

What's the jlouloulou flipper code and what does it do? First I have heard of this. Real curious. And yes, many thanks for the updates.

It allows you to do all kind of tricks with the flippers, like drop catches, tap passes, and similar.

I would like to take a look. Thanks. Is it fairly intuitive how to find all this code in the script? Any chance you might have a something showing all of the code and how to insert it into an existing table?
