Hi, I know this has probably been answered in more technical terms and I get at this point...still figuring out Ultra DMD and how that all works...but...is there a way to move the desktop DMD to the backglass screen on a cabinet?   Or for ultra dmd to work is there something I need to do.  I have the folder with ultra dmd stuff in my tables folder and when I start it...it doesn't show up.   (I know about true or falsing the script for each one...I was able to remove and put back the desktop DMD).  I'd love to be able to move the desktop one or get ultra dmd working.  Otherwise the table works great.   Most posts say click and drag it...but since it isn't a Pinmame thing it doesn't seem to do that.  (pressing F1 doesn't do anything either for same reason I beleive).

UltraDMD needs to be installed to work. This is installed automatically when running the VPX full installer. But in your case you just need to download the installer from the UltraDMD web side:

Run the installer, and then it will work.

 

The desktop DMD cannot be moved to another screen, that's why we also use UltraDMD, so it can be moved.

I give up getting the b2s to work on this. I tried version 1.3.1, I am now on 1.3.0, and it's in my version in the script. I also tried:

  Controller.B2SName = "zof10"               ' (name of my actual b2s is "Legend of Zelda)

  Controller.Run()

At the end of the Loadcore sub. I get an error- "Root element is missing". Ultra DMD works fine.

Active X can't create object/FlexDMD.

 

I don't have Flex DMD, I do have Ultra DMD, and it works.

Flex DMD will update your Ultra DMD so you can move it to the backglass like for JP's tables pokemon and Diablo.

Read through the pages and appreciate the info so now I know how to turn off the dmd on-screen but is there anyway to get the UseReelsDMD to appear on the DMD screen?

It's much better/cooler then the bland score screen w/no images.

Not just now. I may make a revision using the flexdmd for the DMD screen.

Yes, but not officially

 

Inside the flexDMD download is an alternate table script for Zelda

make sure script name is the same as the table file name and put it in the table folder beside the table
this will output the DMD externally

 

 

If you want a color DMD, you will need Haggi's B2S files

all you had to do was save the downloaded file in the table folder, and just check that it's name matches the table name

I meant, I d/l your VBS file you gave me the link for, changed the name to match the VPX filename, put it in the same folder as the VPX file - run the table - get the error.
